Stadium looks epic, absolutely stunning, be great to play champions league games there hosting real, Barcelona etc. Just need to get the squad up to scratch and 1 goal in 3 friendlies is awful, if we can't score in a kick about how will we do when the premiership starts, need a striker and a goalscoring winger in the next week.

Romeo, you're right the stadium looks great, but I'm afraid the only way it will see champions league any time soon will be if that lot over the park redeveloped the Anfield road end, fall behind schedule and ask us for a loan of it, just watched the Wigan lowlights terrible.

A stadium that will take 4 years to build will never see CL football anytime soon. But whilst that’s happening I will be willing my team on to that goal.

Toffee, i took the stadium build time into consideration, but depends on your and my definition of any time soon, and have to say to Ed025 preseason friendlies only mean nothing when you loose them, every game is there to be won and should be treated as such, to build up a winning mentality.
{Ed025's Note - friendlies are supposed to be exactly that blue lagoon...friendly, no rash challenges, no muscle strains and no injuries, yes a win is obviously nice but its not the be all and end all mate..
