Positives from last night, I thought we played some lovely football at times. Looked really good going forward and created some real good chances. Obviously, the negative being we didn’t take them! Villa not a bad side and will upset a lot this year, but Everton clearly the better side, just not clinical enough in front of goal.
A professional footballer of Walcott’s standard should be slotting chances like that away in his sleep, likewise with DCL. I’m not bashing them like some on here, just at this level, you HAVE to take those chances.
On the whole, I like what I see so far and we will improve as the season goes on. Three games in and it’s largely positive, apart from lasts nights result. Iwobi looks good, as does Kean. I would imagine that he will be starting once his match fitness is there.

They will all be starters soo Pierre. Marco won't want to just throw them in but if siggy, DCL and Gomes don't produce then we will see the new boys coming in.
The first goal is important but is more so for us as we are pretty solid at the back.
Once all our forwards are firing we will be fine.

Wake up Smit and get real, are manager is useless, you have attacked me for a while now.
However I knew and am right now 100% certain now stop day dreaming and get real.
I notice your paL Degsy has not shown his face yet maybe the truth has dawned on him.
I did feel I might be wrong but now I am certain that Silva is not and never was up to the job.
