Nothing has changed. class players on paper but Silva is a very very poor manager.
Not a knee jerk reaction but he has to go and now.
He's spent more money than any other manager yet still fails to create a consistent winning formula. or at least one that appears to.
Dont know who the answer is but if he stays we will not progress.

We have had the easiest start to the season I can remember yet we have not taken advantage.
This dour, arrogant and deluded man who other than ordering his players to give away their shirts after a tremendous victory against LINCOLN appears not to interact with the fans at all. go now before you worsen what I believe to be an already concerning position.
Wr are yet again the fodder for "pundits"

I agree with most of that. Silva won’t be here next season. I’ll get panned for saying this but he is hapless.

Really think Everton have big problems - we should have progressed from Koeman / Martinez but fall for same mistakes over and over - keep signing unproven players year after year - sign players at last minute so no time to settle in before season starts.

Our last 3 managers have come from teams who have finished below us and even relegated

We ignore the likes of Dyche / Howe who I think are better fits - looking at league now we will probs chase after Norwich manager next year.

Getting Howe or Dyche would he another step down. Sick of us employing young up and comers. Get a winner in with a winning mentality and forget going for someone who maybe might gain us an extra 2 or 3 points a season.

Wholeheartedly agree swan.

No problem with young up and coming managers. These so called successful managers were once young and given a chance.
Load of nonsense this winning mentality. Everyone who steps onto the football pitch has a winning mentality otherwise what is the point. Maybe not everyone has a killer streak like say klopp or pep and that maybe what we need.
Put ya foot on opponents throat (metaohorically) when they down so we best teams 4-0 as opposed to 3-2 and we really need to play away more like we do at home because we get stifled.

Swan / Pauly

Who would both of you want as manager? I understand the frustration and your need to criticise Silva but what are your alternatives? You don't want young and up coming managers so you wouldn't have gone for Mourhino when he was still in Portugal, you wouldn't have taken a Clough when he was just starting out. When, in your opinion do they stop being up and coming manager and become winners with a winning mentality?

Personally I agree with geoffjohno, they already had that winning mentality when they first started in management - everyone goes into it with a winning mentality

Tell me, would you discount a Pochettino as he hasn't won anything?

Would you be calling for a Pellegrini as he won the Championship at Man City but nothing since or would it be a Mourinho who has a great record of winning things but that was by spending far more than Silva and Brands and who is, in my opinion on the wane as far as his man management goes. Maybe we should go with Wenger who had a great record and the nothing except top 6 for years and then out of the top 6 i. e. on the decline and 70 (not being ageist -I'm nearly there myself)

I honestly don't know the answer but calling for change and then not providing any solution is not helping.

We are all frustrated following a bad performance against Bournemouth. I don't think we played as bad against Villa or Crystal Palace but failed to take our chances. We played well against Wolves, Ok against Watford and Lincoln. Obviously we have to improve our away form but we also have to be a bit more patient. Kean is still teenager and needs to integrate into a new country and side, Delph one good game one average, JP out with injury, we're trying to integrate Iwobi into the side - at the expense of Bernard (one of our successes last season, Siggy just hasn't started yet (I don't understand why) but he was our joint top scorer last season but now everyone is calling for him to be replaced by Bernard who isn't a proven No 10 and who isn't a good option to replace the goals Siggy scores

People keep calling for Tosun. I've got nothing against him but he didn't work under Allardyce, Silva doesn't seem to rate him. The only teams that have been interested in him have been Turkish on loan, some interest from Germany but very low fee and now Qatar! I might be wrong but don't remember any Premiership clubs pushing hard to sign him - maybe because there are doubts about his ability to operate in the PL. Forget the goals he scored in the Champions league - what has done in an Everton shirt to warrant a regular place - very little if I'm being honest.

He’s played 15 minutes for us this season and assisted in 1 goal - he played well against Lincoln and deserves a go instead of DCL who is a championship player.
If it doesn’t work then it doesn’t work but sticking with this set up is only going to irritate everyone
Why on earth Keane is not starting is beyond everyone - we can’t buy a goal and have an Italian national striker sitting on the bench - I will add Toson scored for Turkey and played very well despite no game time.
