Hope this goes in the banter post and not discussions but who knows.

I'm not making jokes I'm just curious.

Anyone who wants Silva to stay, please explain why.

I’d love him to stay because I’m a Liverpool fan.

21 Sep 2019 18:02:23
I didn't want him. I backed him when we went on our run as i couldve been wrong but we haven't improved and i can't be arsed with another flurry towards the end of a bad season. Under silva (in the prem) we have NEVER come back from being a goal down to win. That says all you need to know.

Was very much on the fence. Even prepared to give him time to sort it out but today has just kicked me in the balls. That's was almost as bad as getting best 4 nil at anfield few years ago. Woeful.
definitely starting to lean towards replacing him. Benitez for 18 months or so while we scout the world for the best manager we can get here.

21 Sep 2019 18:27:24
As an ex employer, I really do fail to understand why he was employed, there is no logic and no sense. But having done so, surely there have to be stipulations in his contract.

Redal

What's it like having a great manager and great team.

21 Sep 2019 18:32:40
Plus as it stands currently we have conceded more goals than any other premier league team from set pieces. Zonal marking just doesn't work for us yet it will continue to be in use. Just bloody stupid.

21 Sep 2019 18:43:11
Swan, if you’re old like me and remember the eighties you had a great team and manager.

21 Sep 2019 18:59:56
I'd like him to stay!

Stay away from our club.

Poor team selections, poor subs and no clue why do we pick these stubborn 1 way of play, no backup plan managers.

21 Sep 2019 19:07:20
Sadly I don't mate, was born in 98 and my earliest memories are Moyes.

21 Sep 2019 19:30:59
80s side was quality. Maybe not the best individual players around but worked so well together as a team. Hard as nails but could also play good football.

21 Sep 2019 19:49:37
Sorry Geoff but you don't do that team justice with your opinion.
That team wouldve conquered the world.

21 Sep 2019 20:15:53
We would have won European cup in all probability pauly. The main reason I said that is they were a bunch of misfits, injury prone rejects when they came to us and Kendall moulded them into superstars.
Andy Gray was in last chance saloon with injuries. Similar with Peter Reid and Paul bracewell (what a player)
Hard question as the game has changed now but how many of that side would get in now? (Probably all after today)

Southall

Coleman
Watson
Mountfield
Digne

Reid
Bracewell

Stevens
Gray
Sherry

Sharp

2 out of 11 at a quick look. Today's side not fit enough to wear the laces of the 80s. I am only 40 so was only 6-10 when we were great so excuse anything I get wrong.

21 Sep 2019 21:19:00
Should be Trevor Steven with Gray and sheedy. Stupid auto correct.

21 Sep 2019 21:35:19
Watson? - didn’t sign until 86 and wasn’t a patch on Rats! . Youngerst ever captain to lift the FA Cup, Captain is to the league and Europe and your chatting Watson 🤣🤣🤣. Don’t agree with that Geoff!

21 Sep 2019 22:14:14
Ya know what blu. You bang on there. How did i forget rats. I thinking of him but put Watson. That's today's game wrecking my head. Sorry boys.
