If Marco was to go I would go for Mikel Arteta, the guy was pure class when he played for us, oozes Passion.

So who would you want Swan? I still see no proposed solutions from you to rectify all the problems you are seeing
Don't forget the season has only just started so the better options are mostly committed to clubs who 1/ wouldn't let them go and 2/ if they did let them go do they show the loyalty we would want from them
The ones I can think of currently out of a job do not excite me in the slightest Allardyce - no thank you, Wenger - unfortunately too old in my opinion, Mourhino - too expensive both in personal terms and squad expenditure, Moyes - nothing since leaving us and, if we're being honest, nothing won when with us
Please - let's all realise that now is not the right time to be even thinking of changing the manager. Bear with him. Let him sort things out- like he did at the end of last season. If he doesn't then the board have a decision to make for next season.

Do not agree at all, Mikel gave his all every game he played for us he knows the fans and he knows the expectations of our Great Club, he would do us proud of that I have no doubt, game of opinions mate thank goodness we are all not as negative as you.

Phil Neville was the same but everyone fumed when he was rumoured as our manager before Martinez.
If that's what the fans want, just ex players for passion then we may aswell reside ourselves to never going anywhere as a club.

Now is exactly the time to change the manager, still plenty of time in the season left. Silva will not change anything and we continue declining so why bother keeping him.

Oh and as for me being negative, it's the happy clappers who are happy with top ten and a decent cup run every 2 or 3 seasons that make the board think we are happy with garbage:)

Hi bw mate that's a good post, I am not a get of Marco fan but was merely saying that Mikel would be my choice if he did go, i think our present manager should be given a fair crack of the whip, we all know this current situation can't continue and Marco must be walking on thin ice if it carries on, i will always support whoever is in charge of our Great Club

hate this 'get arteta he oozes passion' sorry marco has a passion for the game, he might not show it but he is non stop working? all be it its not working but passion doesn't win you anything. should we be considering david weir and alan stubbs because they had 'passion? ' unsworth? no? didn't think so.
