ED0025, your talking rubbish about big DUNC all he'll be doing is taking the basic training, i. e. running, and fitness, no input over game plans, believe me i saw it during the 60's Tommy Eggelstone, trainer Catterick the manager, i know because i was there, ok a long time ago but football really don't change, so lay off Big Dunc.

{Ed025's Note - i fail to see what he brings to the table BL, do you really think our players look among the fittest in the league?, do you think he is the example to tell anyone about running or fitness because i dont...if we were flying pigeons then he would be the perfect choice, he is a coach who was a centre forward yet all of ours cant hit a bulls arse with a banjo mate, i admire your sentimentality and loyalty but im afraid thats part of the problem with this club..

Ferguson is stealing a living at Everton, that is what is so wrong with our club, big on helping former players and Everton in the Community, which is first class, but until we stop the free meal ticket for former players and brush out the stench from Finch Farm we will carry on struggling.

I say this with a heavy heart but I would certainly give Benetiz serious consideration if results do not improve.

Have to agree with Blue Lagoon . I can't believe how shallow our loyalty runs . We need to support our manager until the owner decides on a change .

23 Sep 2019 22:30:19
The problem is Gary if we just support no matter what, the owner will think we are happy and never change.

23 Sep 2019 22:55:21
BL that is one weird comparison you're making there. As in like there isn't one. Football really has changed since the 60s and a hell of a lot.

I'm a Dunc fan but I'm all for a good clearout. My loyalty is always the club.

None of us know what he is like as a coach and he might be fantastic but I'd prefer a manager to always have their own choices.

As for the next manager. It's time we pushed the boat out for proven quality that's worked in this league and at the top.

23 Sep 2019 23:27:22
nonsense when a player goes out on the pitch, all the coaching in the world doesn't help it's all about instinctive reactions, how does a coach tell you about a defence making blocks, and interceptions, or were a ball will land, couldn't' possibly be that our forwards are not good enough ever considered that in your conceited opinions.

24 Sep 2019 01:06:24
Maybe you should watch someone like Van Dijk then mate. He was good at Southampton but dodgy, now he's ironed out concentrational and positional errors, that's what good coaching does. Look at how bad Keane is for us compared to under a good defensive coach in Dyche.

You need to calm down and not take a debate on the internet so seriously.

24 Sep 2019 05:56:40
I'm not sure why Dunc is still at Everton. If he has any ambitions in coaching / management he needs to move on for his own sake

Whether he is doing a good job I just don't know as I don't see the training and so can't comment as to whether it's good.

24 Sep 2019 08:06:10
BL I can now put any comment you ever make in the bin. As you clearly know nothing about sport nevermind football. You sound idiotic!

24 Sep 2019 08:22:45
The owner Swan knows what's going on . You're suggesting the owner would risk his investment and sleepwalk towards relegation if we don't let him know how unhappy we are after 6 games . The only thing we are showing him is how little support we give unless we are winning. That may affect his loyalty in future. I know you weren't alive 35 years ago but holding your nerve pays off mate .

24 Sep 2019 08:58:57
Gary that is absolutely spot on. there's a big difference between fan and "supporter". there's a lot of fans on here.

24 Sep 2019 09:19:45
agree 100% what is the point in having big dunc apart of the staff? just to make it look like we have 'everton' on the bench? dunc is loved yes, but is his golascoring record and general ability one to be taught to moise kean and DCL? absolutely not, soft being soft touches and get rid of people that don't need to be here.

24 Sep 2019 15:20:59
So we should always hold our nerve?

Okay I'll believe you. Silva in, no matter what.

25 Sep 2019 10:59:28
We have played 6 games Swan, just calm down and look forward to Christmas and see where we are then . I can't believe how many want a change of manager after a few poor performances. Silva wasn't my choice but changing manager is always a last resort . With the new transfer windows as they are managers need more time than ever before to get the balance of their squads the way they want . 6 games Swan 6 .
