Can we stop talking about other managers we have one and so we should all get behind him, good job some of the people on here we're not in charge of our club otherwise we would go through 2 managers every season and probably be playing in championship, yes it's been an unpleasant few weeks but give Marco some credit he is our first manager that have beaten some top 6 sides for years, funny if you win 2 on the bounce your a good manager but loose 2 on the bounce and you need to be sacked.

Agree True blue some of our fans are too knee jerk and will turn us into a Watford. Some on here were saying we took the wrong Watford manager only 12 months ago.
Silva is right for us now. He might not be right for us further down the line but for now who else is there out there who plays brands style, is available and would come to us?

The answer to that is no one. All the names mentioned in the last few days, none of them suit the players brands is buying.
At the end of the season if Silva hasn't taken us forward then think about a replacement.

Koeman beat Arsenal and City. Martinez beat Arsenal and Chelsea.

What are you talking about?

I still think something special is happening at Everton but as always it will take time, I said about Mikel Arteta as maybe a replacement if Marco was to go but would prefer if Marco can sort this current squad out.

No management experience would make him a massive gamble GB

What he does have in his favor is years of knowledge/ experience in the Premier, the players and the way teams play - something some managers suggested by others do not have

I don't believe that we could get someone we actually want and who would be willing to join us at this point in the season

All we would end up doing is getting another stop gap manager and destroy peoples faith / confidence in what Everton are wanting to achieve. I don't want a caretaker, I don't want another Allardyce. Unless we are falling off the cliff - and we are not anywhere near that - I am happy giving Silva more time to sort it out.

I am with you on that bw mate.

Totally agree, bw. The season is still young and there is time to improve on the pitch. If there were 6 games to go rather than 6 games gone, then I'd understand the panic and the calls for his head. Far too early to be doing that now. All we are seeing is the same old people reiterating their disproval at the manager. I've said it before, I'm no real fan of Silva but I just don't see the point in sacking yet another manager and putting us back a year or two. Obviously, if results don't improve then the writing will be on the wall but we haven't reached that point just yet.
