''what the hell are we going to do? ''

Hmmm it's a toughy alright, now let's see . But don't shout at me Sky and please don't swear at me I get a bit nervous sometimes . How about we hang on to Silva just for a bit like not too long eh what do you think?

30 Sep 2019 19:45:02
Maybe? but I don't think it will happen that's why I was asking.

Well we are not going to make the decision are we! We can only speculate, so I would guess he will stay until the New Year. If he is replaced I only hope to God that we will have someone lined up before he is fired and whoever it is should be of high quality. My choice would be Benitez.

Just as an aside to all this deep thinking, I atm watching Utd v AFC, and I swear mate OGS looks like he's aged 5yrs in the first 15mins.
This manager caper, flippin eck no thanks Sky not for me!

It will be tough for Silva if we lose at Burnley. I'm all for giving more time but there has to be signs we are getting it together.
The city game last season was the turning point, let's hope it's the same this season.

Injuries and recruitment haven't helped Silva but we should still be beating Villa, Sheff U and Burnley.

''getting it together. ''

Likewise Smit, a clean sheet would put a big smile on my face mate .

Silva needs to show us fans glimpses of last season's late form. Only that will give the fans hope we can progress with Silva.

Burnley and west ham are must wins for me.

@BlueMike, I was reading somewhere that the 'Great Bill Shankly' almost took the job in the 70's, (Circa Billy Bingham) I already knew he dropped in at Bellefield from time to time OMG just think, bloody hell and all that!?!

{Ed001's Note - After leaving Liverpool he spent a lot of time at Everton and Bellefield due to being asked to stay away from Liverpool as he couldn't resist taking over in training or just joining in. Everton were very good to him during this period, he actually did some scouting for you as well as nearly taking the job, and was regularly on hand to give advice when it was asked for. He did think it over for a while, it is one of those big what if moments in history.}

Tell you what Ed, we can only but guess but what a great manager for the Blues he would have been, and just think mate his managerial career would have really took of too ;)

{Ed001's Note - but, on the other hand, you would never have had the Howard Kendall era.}

As 'discretion is the better part of valour' Ed I won't mention them by name, However I can think of a couple of other 'era's' we could have done without too lol.
