Question is. Who will take over from Marco? I really don't know who is out there.

Agree0 Disagree0

There’s loads of good manager’s who are out of contract at the moment! Marcelino off the top of my head being one!

05 Oct 2019 17:24:51
Who cares, as long as not him, how can it get any worse.

05 Oct 2019 17:27:10
I have no idea why but Silva is Teflon. Watford not only sacked him but managed to get dollars out of us. It beggars belief, why this coach still has his backers.

05 Oct 2019 17:27:14
I hope and prey Silva is gone Monday.
So sick of hearing people on this site telling things are getting better, they need to get real. The direction we are going in is down and down, if Newcastle win tomorrow, bottom three.
The whole project is a failure, will Moshiri get the message?

05 Oct 2019 17:50:28
Replace him with?

05 Oct 2019 18:19:25
DC. He won’t be gone on Monday. Or any other Monday this side of Christmas. After that though unless there’s any improvement, then there might be a change.

05 Oct 2019 19:01:41
DC who do you want to replace Marco? So I understand your opinion what direction we need to go in. It is easy to criticise everyone who comes through the door.

05 Oct 2019 19:07:52
If we do replace him I want a Manager who has won something, we need someone with that experience and mentality.

05 Oct 2019 19:55:23
I'd expect him to get the boot after 4 defeats on the spin. We only really gave it a go against City. I don't think it is crisis point just yet but that could easily change with the run of fixtures that are looming large for us.
If they do sack him then I agree with Bobslad, please give us someone who has a winning mentality and is experienced. I'm tired of these up and coming managers that promise so much yet fail to deliver. That's the problem though, who is actually out there that would want the job in the first place? We have gone from being a club that is loyal to its managers to trigger happy in only a few years.

05 Oct 2019 21:20:15
Yes who do we get and it is mid season. Well I am happy with Unsy till Christmas, he did not get a chance last time.
Beyond that Arteta who applied for the job and was turned down. Would he come?
It is very hard at this stage but we need also to get rid of all coaching staff including Dunk (sorry big man) stil love you.
Is Brants following a plan to go overseas from Moshiri? Well look round every where young British talent is bursting through the policy is 5 years out of date.
We have great success under Unsworth but non ever make subs bench, the whole project is wrong.
If Silva is still there by xmas and we are in relegation trouble we need an Allerdyce type manager to keep us up. I know some would rather see us go down, why this is beyond me, we need to act now, but we need a young British manager aka Villa and Sheff U.

I'm normally defensive of the setup but enough is enough. Schneiderlin is schneiderlin, sigurdsson been poor all season and yet both play again. I love Coleman but he has been poor most of the season and it culminated in his sending off today, silva just seems to have no other ideas. It is time for him to go. But I would echo singing the blues question to DC and BCT. You guys have wanted silva out for ages so you must have someone in mind to takeover, who is it? Let's have names now from you both and then at least if you get what you want we will get to see whether either of you have any positivity in you whatsoever.
