Come on blues someone give us a realistic list of let's say five managers who we could go for or even just ask and I mean realistic and capable of turning this mess around and put us in the top 6 if not this year then next . you never know someone at the top might reed it.

IMO There is only one realistic option at the moment. It would be unlikely that any half decent manager would jump ship from a premiership team to manage us. So we would be looking at an PL unproven manager from another league who would inherit the squad we already have. Even if we went for a lower league manger they will probably have to hit the ground running playing both exciting and winning football or they would end up getting lambasted by the fans AKA SA. Alternatively we could go for an ex player or pundit or even assistant manager with absolutely no managerial experience so they would be on a hiding to nothing. So in my opinion if we got rid of Silva then the only viable option is Unsworth. Changing the manager at this time in my opinion would be a mistake. If we decided to change manager now and it didn't work not only would we be kicking off about the new manager but we would also be paying a considerable sum to have got rid of Silva which would once again impact our ability to purchase additional players. Unless Silva cannot get us into the top 15 and at least 5-6 points above the relegation contenders by xmas then I think he should keep his job for the season. I don't like it one bit but you asked for a realistic answer.
