Worst Everton managerial points per game ratios since Walter Smith
Walter Smith (1998-2002) : Played 143, won 41, drew 42, lost 60. Points per game: 1.15

David Moyes (2002-13) : Played 427, won 173, drew 123, lost 131. Points per game: 1.5

Roberto Martinez (2013-16) : Played 113, won 43, drew 34, lost 36. Points per game: 1.44

Ronald Koeman (2016-17) : Played 47, won 19, drew 12, lost 16. Points per game: 1.47

Sam Allardyce (2017-18) : Played: 24, won 9, drew 7, lost 8. Points per game: 1.42

Marco Silva (2018-) : Played 46, won 17, drew 10, lost 19. Points per game: 1.33

So Silva has a worst points per game ratio than Allardyce, that statistic alone should be enough to make the owner give him his orders as if Sam's totals weren't good enough then Silva's certainly shouldn't be.

Unfortunately this means nothing look at Koeman's stats yet we sacked him.

Look I’m not happy with Silva but to keep bringing Allardyce up is pathetic. The guy did nothing for the club, bought very average players for a lot of money, and played horrific “football”. Then there’s Moyes, spent years winning nothing but made everyone believe we were “over achieving”.
All your stats show is Koeman was the best manager, really?
What it really shows is we haven’t had a top manager for years.

How does it show that when over a much longer period of time Moyes is at 1.5, the biggest out them all and to be quite honest it doesn’t surprise me at all.

Moyes got away with it because he was good at making people believe we were punching above our weight, and they believed him. Eleven years wasted imo.
The only way we will ever get this right is to appoint a manager who actually has a proven track record. Unlike any of the above.

Got away with what mate lol. Moyes done an excellent job whilst he was here and considering we only had bills pockets we blatantly were over achieving. Do I want him back? Nope but the past 4 managers have proven how well he done for 11 years. That’s my opinion.

The facts say different. Under Moyes we had the 5th highest wage bill and 5th highest transfer spend but didn't finish 5th or above anywhere near enough to warrant the label of overachieveing.

For once Smit666 I agree with you re Moyes, Here's the thing when DM left us I felt our PL guarantee card went with him.
It was cozy and nothing more yep that was it, him with his 'knives at gun fights'
Treading water was the reality!

What over 11 years? Pull the other one. Compared to what we have now he had minimal and done a good job, that’s my point anyways but it’s history!
