Another question for ed02 what's the biggest reason top managers would be put off from joining our club? Is it no champions League or is the challenge to big or is it other reasons there are other big clubs that have or didn't have champions League when top managers joined them . has Everton as a football club became a club top managers would dread to join.

{Ed002's Note - There is a large gap between the leading clubs like Juventus, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Everton. The infrastructure does not exist at Everton to progress significantly, the stadium is far from being up-to-standard and the club has only managed two or three of forays in to the Europa League in the past 10 years. In order to make the Champions League it would mean dislodging three or four sides of the six or seven who are better placed to qualify right now. Whilst Everton have been consistent there has not been any sustained improvement over the past 10 years or so. Like it or not, the club is unattractive and taking a leading coach out of his comfort zone to move to the grim, wet and cobbled streets Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change, smog, dead & dying pit ponies laying on the street, little chance of football at the highest level and only chips and fried curry to eat only adds to the difficulties.}

Ed002, come on mate, that's a bit daft! Fried curry? It's gravy all day in the north, southerners just don't understand do they haha.

Met and married love of my life in London, (early 70's) , lived and worked all over the World (kids doubt the work bit LOL) . One thing never changes, the London (south of gap) attitude and understanding of the North. 12 years working in this Country 8 were spent in London, their insular (generalisation) attitude is amazing.

13 Oct 2019 09:23:43
Worse places down south than up North what I've seen bill and I've been about myself.

{Ed001's Note - and you can't get gravy and chips down south! Southerners are weird. How can you live without gravy and chips??}

13 Oct 2019 10:59:18
What's the point in managing the likes of Chelsea if you can't get chips and gravy ed ๐Ÿ˜‚.

13 Oct 2019 13:14:39
Didn't you know Sky . Roman ships it down to em mate, in fact Rafa had it written into his contract ๐Ÿ˜ just in case .

13 Oct 2019 14:27:24
