Playing a poor team Bottom of the League
We are about the same level at this moment
How most of you on this forum still believe in Kean I have repeatedly said that he is not good enough for this league and that we have better young players in our under 23 team that should be a head of him in the likes of Gordon and Simms, send him back to Italy on loan that's if anyone would take him
Every transfer window bad recruitment, that includes Delp also
Iwobi Delp Keen wouldn't get on the bench in any other premiership team and that includes the Watford. team
But we have paid millions for them, more waste of the owners good money
It makes me wonder why we have a Scouting team! When they buy the likes of Delp and Kean, something really a miss in this department at Everton
Silva has big problems with the quality of his squad, the only thing he can do in my opinion is to dump Kean Iwobi and Delp and promote are extremely highly prospects from our youth system, he has no other options. It could save him his job
Or maybe his stubbornness will not let him promote from David Unsworth team because that would see him as a massive failure and wasting our owners money in the transfer summer market window
If he doesn't make these changes then I think we will be relegated this season as we were no better than Watford playing at home, if we were to have played Watford away last night we would of been battered by The worst team in the Premiership.

Mate. Take your head for a wobble. Kean only young like those you want to replace him with and he's foreign so takes longer to settle and adapt to the league. Delph was the be Barry after a few games and now he is garbage. Can't change that much in a few games. Iwobi was a regular for arsenal when they were top 4 and winning cups.
We would all like to see youth promoted but our first team is one of the youngest in league anyway. (Richy, dcl, Davies, holgate, pickford, kean, just a few who are early 20's) so need to mature and develop.
Be careful what you wish for. Everyone wanted a new style which he did for West ham and won. That stayed for Brighton but we got beat and everyone wants him out again. What would you say if he took your advice and put kids in and we got hammered by spurs, Utd and Liverpool. Would you sack yourself as well as Silva.
I'm not a Silva fan nor a Silva hater. He manages my beloved club (for now) so will have my support, as do all the players who pull on a blue shirt. We need to stay United and support the team (win lose or draw) and let the chairman and the owner do their jobs.

COme on, Uran, we've done this to death about the youth mate. How you can say any of our youth players are better than Kean is beyond me. If they were then they would have been playing for the first team since they were 16 and be fully fledged internationals for their respective nations.
I don't understand why some posters on here are so quick to condemn some of the summer signings after so few games. Crazy. Last night the first half wasn't the best but did we expect anything else? We haven't been prolic in front of goal so far this season so it was never going to be a cricket score. Second half was a big improvement and we got the job done.
You're talking as if we got beat last night. I shudder to think what ou'd have been like if we actually got beat. Ridiculous comments mate.

I can’t understand why you want to keep on trying to defend these players recruited like Kean, he is not meant to be defend by anyone he cost this club Millions and 70k per week he should do his own defending on the football field, it’s a game of football not a game of excuses, if he can’t shine against Watford then he will never be ready, send him back too Italy on loan then maybe in a few seasons in a lower league we might be able to get the most of our money back
Replace him now with Gordon on the bench, I will guarantee Gordon will make more of an impact than Kean has ever done in a blue shirt.
Please keep your comments on Everton and not directed to me personally, thank you.

Delph has been one of our better players. And I think stating that Kean is not good enough is a little harsh and premature. He is a 19 year old who moved abroad little over 2 months ago and has had limited game time - let's be patient and hope he comes good rather than making sweeping dismissive statements. The media/ pundits and Ed002 all seemed surprised that we were able to attract him so they must believe he has plenty of ability. I suspect he'd be scoring a few goals in the under 23s which is what simms and Gordon are doing.

I remember years ago a certain young foreign player signed for man utd and really struggled his first seasons to adapt and learn the premiership after a couple of years he found his feet and I'm pretty sure we would all agree ronaldo went on to be a pretty decent player wonder if utd would have been happy bombing him out after 10 games as a waste of money and sticking a untried kid in who has never played a senior game hey ho who knows but to write anyone off after the time keen has had is sooo short sighted yes he may come up short or not suited to our club he may just click at some point and be something special but to bin him now would be a terrible deciaion.

Very sensible comments GJ and BP. I may be sitting with my blue tinted goggles but for me Iwobi looks the most dangerous player we have had for years.

30 Oct 2019 12:28:15
Problem is Uran, you directed your OP at others on this site. So they will come back at you for that. If you want their comments to be at Everton only and not you, then you should do the same.

30 Oct 2019 12:30:42
sa90, I agree with you on Iwobi. If he could add a better end product, accuracy in shooting, then we have a player there. I really like the look of him.

30 Oct 2019 14:11:13
Toffee ace I think you have me confused with some else I only make my comments on Everton never direct to any one personally
Maybe people don’t like my opinions but I have no problem with that, it’s just how I see things, I understand I see things differently to most on this forum,
But if Gordon was to get a place in the Match day squad shortly and Kean left out, then what would all say, you would probably turn it around to suit yourselves
My comments our my personal views on the ability of certain players that I believe are not good enough for Everton FC.

James
Your not trying to compare Kean with Ronaldo are you? They are miles apart in my opinion even at the same age.

30 Oct 2019 15:58:19
No Uran, there’s no confusion. You direct your post to, as you wrote “. most of you”. The context of other posters views on Kean. So as I said, if you don’t want it to come to you, then don’t send it out in the first place.

30 Oct 2019 16:45:54
No but I'm just saying that I'm sure if there was a site like this I would have had certain fans calling for him to be dropped and moaning about the money spent on him personally I know nothing Kean and was saying last night at the game I can't see what he does to deserve the reputation he has come with as I haven't seen anything but he needs time that he hasn't had yet and I was nearly using the analogy of ronaldo as comparison it was exactly the same with mina doesn't he now look a differant player to last year?
Who knows were Jean will be at in 7 years time but to want to discard and bomb him out on the back of next to no game time is wrong in my opinion
And just on the ronaldo thing remember as well he struggled at first at at the time probably the beat team in the country with the best manager sadly a luxury that Kean does not have.

30 Oct 2019 16:47:12
I don't see anything that is directed at you personally, Uran. If you make crazy statements then expect people to tell you their views, we all have opinions whether they are as crazy as yours or not!
You're just going over old ground with this argument and it is tedious. You waited for Kean to have an off day so you can stick the boot in once again. He shouldn't have been played on the right last night imo, he should be played as a cf. The manager must come under scrutiny for the way he's been used.
I'll say it again just so you can get it in your head, Simms and Gordon have had zero senior games between them, not even on loan, whereas Kean has been playing first team football since he was 16, for a giant of a club in Juventus. Do you think that both Simms and Gordon would have broke into the Juve first team at a similar age? How many caps have they got between them? Comparing youth and U23 footballers to any first team isn't going to work out mate, the two are chalk and cheese. You can take this personally if you want, might help detract from your weak argument!

30 Oct 2019 20:46:06
Blue potato they all have to start from Zero! You can make excuses for him that’s your prerogative and to put the record straight on my behalf I have not jump on him because he has had an “OFF DAY” he simply for me has never had a Good Day, although that might change ione day and for the The owners sake who has paid out the Millions I sincerely hope so.

30 Oct 2019 20:52:44
Blue potato when someone post’s 30 Oct 2019 07:44:14
Mate. Take your head for a wobble. then that’s becomes personal to me or about me.

30 Oct 2019 21:23:12
I find it strange that you are taking offense to that, Uran, it's just a phrase not a personal attack. Much the same as saying 'don't be stupid' so if that's the worst you get on the internet today then you're winning at life!
Yes, I agree they have to start at 'zero' so obviously Kean, seeing as he was playing at Juve, was regarded as a better player than the two you mentioned at the same age. Do you believe that Simms or Gordon would have made that same Juventus squad at that same age? It's more about patience for me, the lad has moved, at a young age, to another, faster, allegedly better league and needs time to adjust. That is normal, did you get on MIna's back during his first season? He didn't pull up trees then but he is becoming more settled now. I expect the same will happen with Kean. It's not excuses, I like to give the players time to bed in, I don't expect everything to be a bed of roses all the time then moan when things go awry. Each to their own, if you want to slate new players after ten games then that says more about you as a fan than it does those who diagree with your opinion.

30 Oct 2019 22:14:40
You have just agreed that the Italian league is of lower standards, that he has come to a faster league, unfortunately for him he has come with a high reputation and with a high price tag, but with zero experience of our league so for me that puts him on the same level as Gordon or Simms the only difference is that he has always been on the bench or in the team unlike our home grown youngsters, I would just like that our Manager to give our youth a chance to come off the bench for the last 15/ 20 minutes to give them an opportunity to shine and fulfill their dreams, Kean might well be a special talent also in the Premiership but it must be demoralising for him at this moment, give him so time and games with the under 23 team to give him game time and regain his confidence.

30 Oct 2019 22:46:25
Read what I said again, uran, you missed out a key word. Series A is one of the top leagues so you're clutching at straws there mate. Smit sums up the entire argument in a post further up this page. We are just going over old ground yet again.
