Just a thought and looking at things in hindsight Brendan Roger's. Hated him when managing that lot across the park, and how they played they nearly won the league look what he did at swansea look what he did at celtic, granted a piss poor league . but looking at leicester lately and tonight he's got them playing fast direct pass and move forward football and keeping it tight at the back . Was his cv not worth a look? at even considering he managed that lot across the park before we appointed silva who's cv was non descript. what do any of you fellas think? Like to hear your views.

Rogers is an exceptional manager. His Swansea team were arguably the best passing side in the premier league. The way they played fluid front foot football was refreshing to watch. Ultimately they lacked real star quality but he had them playing some real exciting stuff. Everything after Swansea has been successful one way or another. Would we be a better team with him as our coach? Most definitely.

Must admit he had proved me wrong. Thought he had run off for an easy ride.

Exactly who I wanted before Silva, I’m still in shock Leicester got him, he is top drawer and done top jobs where ever he has gone, only not winning Liverpool the title is the one negative in his managerial career. I must be the only one not surprised with Leicester at moment which is why I bet on them to be top 4.

{Ed025's Note - that looks a good bet metz, hes got them playing really well and you can see the togetherness and organization he has brought, i dont want him at everton for obvious reasons but i cant argue with the good job he is doing mate..

No doubting his credentials as a manager, he’s proving his class and would be great at any club. For me though, it just goes to prove that a good manager is pivotal to a side paying well, not the other way round - thus, Silva must go, maybe not right now, but he has been shown to be exactly what he is.

The thing with Leicester is, they are always a few bad results away from a disaster. We saw it with Ranieri and Shakespeare. If things aren't going their way there are a few rats in that dressing room that will hang their manager out to dry if things aren't how they like it.
VAR has been kind to them, let's see what they're made of when the going gets tough.

I feel that Rogers allways was a good manager but British so disliked by red fans as many of our supporters seem to feel the same about British managers.
Also they have a good recruitment policy, ie Maddison, Teielmans etc young and not spent as much as we have. As a club they are better run than us, we are a joke in comparison.

But that is just a snap shot of this season DC. We have finished above them in all but the one season they won the league.
They may finish above us this season but until the 38th game is finished nothing is certain.
I have seen enough Blackpools, Readings Huddersfields to know you get nothing for being in the top 4/ 6 in December.
It's a long season and if I'm honest, I'll predict they will finish 7th or 8th this season, and we will be somewhere around that.

Leicester have had plenty of “joke” moments themselves. Their treatment of managers is less than exemplary to say the least. Plenty of hiring and firing going on. Poor choices and poor handling of situations. They have a good manager right now though that’s for sure. But that kind of negative comparison from one of our own supporters is strange.

I agree with you on this one Dark clouds.
