With various papers saying today that Mr Moshiri and Bill are determined to get Eddie Howe in as he a passionate Everton fan and are prepared to bank roll him with cash for new players etc to get their man, i would like to see him get the job and with money to spend who knows what he could do, might be a Godsend.

GB, Good post mate I agree, some saying his current form etc. is the 'whole story' are perhaps wearing blinkers he did for the Cherries what amounts to imo a 'gigantuan feat' and many other 'marquee' coaches might find it beyond their own capabilities to achieve in todays football climate.

And would he run back down south again like he did from Burnley? Do you see him getting us in the top 6? I am not too sure. I would prefer to see a more high profile manager who has tasted top 6 or European competition on a regular basis. I know these guys deserve a chance. Just glad I don't have to make the decision.

Thanks mate as I say ref the tight reigns that he has had at Bournemouth Eddie Howe always seems to buy bargain basement players and just wonder if had the cash available which he would with us would it be enough to tempt him here, i just think he would do a good job for us.

The thing is though nick Everton are not a big club any more we are not a top 4. Club who can attract big name managers we need the likes of eddie Howe to steady the club and move us up for about 5 years or so untill we have a new stadium and we have more appeal to the rest of the world . advertisement for instance . we need a plan and we need to stop thinking we can get instant success.

Interested in West Ham. Bloke gets homesick. I am with Ed25 on Howe. If these are leaks from Everton, then I hope before letting stuff out they have their man. For me it is still Benitez January, big Dunc or Unsy till then.

Another massive risk on someone who is starting to struggle now he's trying to make the next step with Bournemouth.
Went to Burnely and as soon as it started raining went back home.
I like the guy but could he step up to a much bigger club with 40000 roaring at him in the pi**ing down rain of Goodison?
I'm not convinced.

Benitez for me would be a great fit. I don't think he will come. Pretty sure he said he would never manage EFC or UTD. don't forget he did refer to us as a little club.

If I am right Raffa wanted out of Liverpool because they would not give him assurances on investment and transfer funds. With a new stadium on the horizon he can see the investment, and with FM at the helm, he would have the transfer funds. Why should he show loyalty to a club who asked him to leave so the could save paying him £16M. If he is free and wants to walk to work let's get him.
