It may have been a “better” performance today, but it was still nowhere near good enough and should not be a performance that keeps him in a job. Simply not good enough today or in the 13 games previous - that’s why we are 2 points off the relegation spots. TWO POINTS! Like it or not, we are in a relegation scrap and the club should be ashamed of themselves for letting things get this bad. He should have gone weeks ago and something done to arrest this slide.

I didn’t even see a better performance today. Our defenders are continually caught out of position, the midfielders are non existent and the striker gets no service at all. How many times did Digne and Davies lose possession today? Digne is caught out of position many times every game I watch him. Keane is not a good centre half, Mina has his moments and Holgate is still learning. Sidibe was ok today but useless last week. I won’t comment on the midfielders because I think when Gomes, Gbamin and Delph are fit they’ll play.

{Ed025's Note - it was a miles better performance this week joe, we had intensity and fight and i dont know how you can compare it with last week mate (except for the outcome of course)..

Also people banging on about our midfield. We basically have 1 fit midfielder and a partially fit Schneiderlin.

Ed we were second best all over the pitch again. I’m sure Leicester had at least twice as much possession as us. Intensity and fight should be a given for professional footballers. Unfortunately intensity and fight doesn’t win games or trophies as we know for far too long. I know I’m probably being harsh on some players performances today but we got same result as last week and it’s a team game. So for me another poor performance and result to go with it.

{Ed025's Note - away to the second best team in the league was always going to be difficult joe, i actually thought we played well for most of it but i agree that its too little too late, i have to disagree that intensity and fight wont win you games though mate, burnley have been doing it for years..

Ed25, decision making yet again. A team that relies on front foot with the pressure still on suddenly relieved IWOBI off Schneid the crab on. One example. Question: Are the ditherers still dithering tomoz.

{Ed025's Note - probably mate..

I agree about the midfield being a less than makeshift one. You have to ask the question though - why are we suffering so many injuries in training?

I watched the game again ed now I’m not as angry haha. You’re right there was more effort and intensity in our play but we were still second best for the majority of the game. I’m struggling to see how we can get out of this rut, we need 2 central midfielders and a striker to arrive or find form asap just to fight our way out the relegation scrap.

{Ed025's Note - things will get worse over the next few weeks im afraid joe, we will be i the bottom 3 by christmas i expect but im confident we will get ourselves out of the mire come the new year mate..

That’s what is concerning me as I can’t see a way to stop the free fall. I do think we’ll avoid relegation but just not sure how. We always seem to find a bit of form to push up towards top half of table and hopefully we do it sooner rather than later. I also think Silva is here for awhile yet (provided we don’t get stuffed in next 2-3 games) . If he was getting sacked it would’ve happened after Norwich game. So we may just get behind him and the team.
