Clubs an embarrassment, making silva wait in finch farm for ten hours? not right at all, farhad moshiri holding a meeting with the players? why? that should be brands. its a mess why employ a director of football if you're not going to let him do the job.

I do wonder if under our 'new' model the Manager has a say in the players brought in or is given the Players and told sort it out. Preference if you must have a DoF is that the Manager (who after all should know his idea of players needed to fit his preferred system) has the major say in incomings.

The messing yesterday made us look pathetic again. I cannot see any reason why it took all day to sack him.

Who said it took all day to sack him? I imagine there would have been several discussions taking place and I’m sure silva would have been given an opportunity to say how he’d turn things around, all these things take time.

If I was the owner I would be giving them a right mouthful. Then I would have a word with the director of football and tell him to start doing his Effin job properly or he will be following Marco.
