I don't think i can remember a performance this bad. they were kids! . more heart and desire, not to mention belief, than our millionaire, premiership, players.
I hope CA has seen enough to ask moshiri for the money to buy a whole new squad.
why hasn't pickford learned to stay on his line? If he had any type of football brain he would've been stood on his line and tipped that over. THEY RESTED THEIR ENTIRE FIRST TEAM!

Holgate - worth sticking with
Digne - not a great defender
Walcott - same as 12 years ago
Sigurdson - lost his way
Schneiderlin - one dimensional
Sidibe - see Digne
Richarlason - not as good as thinks

Clearly Carlo has a lot of work to do.

Thought Pickford did ok today, the rest started ok and deteriorates into a shambles. Defenders get it and no one in midfield offering so Holgate to Mina, back to pickford, then to holgate then to coleman then Mina then we get squeezed and lose ball. City did same not learning. Not blaming defenders cause there is no midfield.

I think when you have Sigurdsson and Schneiderlin as your midfield pair you’re doomed.
Sigurdsson - was world class maybe 3 seasons ago, as many have said he’s now a luxury player that offers very little - maybe 1 good game in 4, needs to be moved on.
Schneiderlin - an enigma, was outstanding for Southampton years ago then transferred up the league and form gone downhill, absolutely no idea what he offers the team or why he still gets picked. Another who needs to go.
Neither player should start again but I’m sure they will.
Can’t see any team offering to take them off our hands either so unfortunately stuck with them.
