Yeah it was ultra depressing to watch the second half. the young reds so much more nimble and technically gifted. so many of our players so one footed their options to pass are severely limited. and Gylfi and Schneids should have gone long ago. neither were ever good enough for a team that can grow into something to be proud of. Our midfield is short of nearly everything you need to compete creatively. Even allowing for the amount of games that have been played. what was on offer today was unacceptable. We simply need to spend our money more intelligently. or find academy players who are ready like some of those reds to step up. Ancelotti has seen our spirit in a couple of games but now our woeful inadequacy in this one. Time not to panic but to plan carefully and very wisely for the future. No more duds on the payroll!

Problem is - how do you get them off the payroll? No sane team would be willing to offer the players the same wages we have even if they get them on a free transfer! The players we all feel need to be moved on probably have no re-sale value. Looks like we’re in negative equity!

We should've played some of our under 23 team, couldn't Donny worse than this lot. At least Ancelotti now knows the extent our problems.

There was one thing that separated these 2 teams today and that was hunger Liverpool closing down was awesome and if we had that today we would of won.

Think Carlo now knows were we need to strengthen and who we need rid of this may not be very popular but my opinion is a world class keeper is priority along with a centre back.
