Who knows if it is or will prove to be a good move but Brands in my opinion isn't and hasn't been the main obstacle to progress. There has been one constant, throughout all this.

Blu1, Those at the top not taking/ accepting blame or responsibility is a National trait unfortunately. Who amongst us old (er) one's on here remembers dishing out bollockings but taking it on the chin from those on the next rung. BK is the Chairman of executives so where should the buck stop. That has been the one constant. Moving deckchairs resolves nothing until he accepts honourary.

To have accountability you have to take responsibility. Ed025 won't like it but he knows where I am going with this. As far as I am concerned if your title is still executive you still have huge influence.
{Ed025's Note - but someone had to fall on their sword DFS, the recruitment as we know has been awful, poor players on long lucrative contracts has been the catalyst of where we find ourselves now, were his hands tied?, if they were he should have walked a long time ago and hopefully this is a wake up call for the rest mate..

I don't have a beef with BK, the bloke genuinely saved and loves the Club. My problem is with the position he occupies. We have to move on and we cannot. My opinion. Brands scapegoat, Baxendale scapegoat! No idea. let's see if them going makes a difference but if it is going to, we have to accept not overnight.

Agreed Ducks. For too long have we ran the club like a charity, lauding every positive ground breaking move we make in the community whist the reason we actually exist has become a poor comparison. We need the right personnel to take the club forward regardless if it doesn’t fit with the general consensus. It’s what we do on the pitch which matters most ?. Quite ironic how we led the way pointing the fingers at those clubs wanting to joint the European Super league when we have jazz hands been deflecting the fact that our Own house has not been in order for quite some time.
