How does everyone think about the Digne situation, his play has been poor this season, think it's would be good business to let him go myself.

Agree2 Disagree0

Sounds like Chelsea and Newcastle keen. Makes a change if its the case where we can barter price up. My opinion is that he would fit perfectly in at City.

Will only be good business if they get a hefty fee for him. Otherwise what’s the point? It’s a bloody right back we need.

17 Dec 2021 17:00:28
If we sell him then fair enough.
Did well first couple of seasons but not been as good for a while. Think his injury affected him and also clearly doesn’t get on with Rafa.

Not sure why Chelsea would be in for him as they have chilwell and also not sure why Digne would go there to be a back up.

We do need a RB, Rafa will know this. If we’re financially up on the deal when Digne goes and Myk comes in, then it’s good business. Is the new lad actually any good?

17 Dec 2021 17:35:26
Think you will see Rafa address a RB in the window and other positions that that we need, think Rafa realises now what a poor Team we actually have mate.

Chilwell out for season maybe most next think he go abroad personally.

Nowhere good enough for Chelsea’s level, he is a good neat type of player but gets found out for pace to often at the top level.

Totally agree uran. No chance he's going to Chelsea city or any elite club. Recall him getting bullied by traore of wolves a couple of seasons ago. He's been poor for about 12 months now. Very savvy to get rid as I think he's one of our highest earners plus likely some mugs will pay top dollar (Newcastle! )

Hope so Whitty mate a very overrated player as many are in our Team, and by the looks of it have been found out at last by our manager who is willing to do something about it,

I admit I don't know all the facts - no one on this site does - but I think it's been badly handled and both Everton/ Rafa and Digne are not coming out of it looking good,

It should have been kept out of the public eye and handled internally although I appreciate sometimes that it not always possible

It looks likely now that Digne who, although he has not been as good as in previous seasons, wasn't one of worst players will be sold. Not at a good price but, after what is in the press, at a discounted price so we lose

I know very little about the player, Mykolenko, but from the reports we will be paying about the same for him as we will be getting for Digne although I would think his salary will be a lot cheaper. Some pundits are saying he is raw and that the step up from the league he is in to the EPL is a steep one. I think it's a gamble

I think we have more important priorities but the way the situation with Digne has gone sour so quickly maybe we haven't

I'm sure Nkounkou will also be looking and wandering how it affects him.

If this supposed new guy is good enough then £20 mill for him on fair lower wages and selling Digne for the same sum on higher wages would be good business surely.

Some on here have “glasses half empty”
A bit sad really.

I admit I haven't seen anything of him DFS but to me it's a big big if.

Remember Pickford 12 months ago? 90% of the posters on this site calling for him to be sold - 'he's making to many mistakes' I kept saying he's a good goalkeeper and we should be tackling higher priorities

Luckily we didn't sell him and look at him now

We have far more higher priorities than Digne in my opinion that are on just as high a wage as him.
