Nathan Broadhead seems to be banging them in for Sunderland. He is 23, on loan from Everton and signed a new two year contract in June this year. Those in the USA will be able to watch the game between Arsenal and Sunderland on ESPN+ at 2:30pm EST tomorrow. Another strange one, if he is any good why loan him out given our small squad, if he is not why give him a two year contract until he is 25?

His contract was up in the Summer. Sign him on a new one to retain value and get hopefully a fee for him in the coming Summer to reinvest.

Well we will be able to see if he is any good against a top team like Arsenal tomorrow. Maybe we should be thinking about giving him a chance when he returns from his loan.

My brother is a Sunderland fan so I occasionally get dragged to games. And believe me, league one standard is some way off the EPL. Sometimes it’s like watching sunday league.

Seen him a few times. Very similar to Jutkiewicz. Will be a decent championship striker and have good career. It maybe wise in keeping him as may need a decent championship striker next year ?.

Thanks for the information. Presume Broadhead thought that he could make it at Everton otherwise why sign a new contract. He could have signed with a team like Sunderland for nothing. Anyway look forward to seeing him tomorrow against Arsenal (or Arsenal reserves) .

Seen him a few times, decent enough, but like others have said lower division, certainly not as good as Simms and Ellis.
