People moaning about El Ghazi probably said the same about Townsend, give the club a break and get behind them.

Kingpin same question to you as GB. Who would El Ghazi be an upgrade for in his position?

12 Jan 2022 18:47:08
My son is Villa fan (don't ask) so seen a bit of them over last couple years and on his day is good player. Unfortunately that's 1 in 4 games.

I would play him regardless of his preferred position instead of Iwobi.

So like Iwobi Ghazi will be a bench sitter - on loan!

Why all this negative stuff, let’s at least see what the guy can do, talk about cart before the horse blimey.

We need to improve the bench too. So if he’s a better option to come on than Iwobi then that’s a good thing.

Remember, we are restricted with FFP. Therefore as the saying goes, “You can only make broth with the bones you have got”.

Respect your opinion Toffee ace. He was a winger at Villa sitting on the bench, why would he come on loan to sit on the bench here, is my point.

DCL, Richarlison, Gray, Townsend, Gordon, Rondon, Dobbin, Simms and Iwobi
That’s 9 players although you could argue Iwobi doesn’t count so that’s 8
If we play 4 at the back plus 2 defensive mid fielders there’s 4 places available
If we play 5 at the back plus 2 defensive mid fielders there’s only 3 spots available
If you said DCL is fit and therefore he takes one of the places there’s even more limited spaces available
Why do we need El Ghazzi to further exacerbate the problem? The only ones he might be considered better than is Iwobi or Rondon 1 (although El Ghazzi isn’t a centre forward – mind you neither is Rondon) . Don’t we need strengthening at CB or DM or CF more?
