I admit, I am as committed evertonion as you could find, so yes I see thing through blue tinned glasses, but even if I was a neutral, I could not see the seance in letting Alan go and even less without a very big fee to fund a replacement.
He is one of the few transfer success, works hard, seems committed, and does the donkey work that let's others play, why in would you let him go out on loan.

I've seen that he wants to go JCW. Sure I saw something about one of his kids being ill or family not settled in England. He wants to go back to Italy. He's a great player and will definitely be a loss but some things are more important than football.

If Radar’s stance is that he only wants committed players, and Allan isn’t, that could be your answer. Also, he’ll be on huge wages and we would receive a loan fee - it would free up spending. The real question is, who would replace him? We already need a CM, we’d need 2 if he left.

Yeah I agree. I think 2 first choice CMs should be our main transfer target.

Yet somehow we need another x2 (I’m probably forgetting a few others too)
I’d also say I was disappointed with our new left back. Seemed off the pace and out of position numerous times in cup - I really hope he doesn’t turn out to be a dud.
I’m with Ed - get some of the young ones in - Knowing EFC I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with Longstaff and Barkley
I bet Small is kicking himself - he probs would have played second half od season at left back if he hadn’t gone to Saints
Lewin Gibson - Dobbin - Simms - Gordon - Beni - new full backs - there are young players around this team who could save a few million if they were developed.

Sobs that’s ridiculous to say about a player who was playing his first match for us. Only been with the team a week and hasn’t played for something like 7 weeks.
I for one was pleased with his debut.
He made some good interceptions, threw some tackles in and also managed to get up the pitch and put a few crosses in.

Dan - I said I was disappointed - I don’t think that’s a ridiculous statement.
If you watch the highlights crosses coming in from there right winger whilst Myko is either in the middle or off the pace trying to get back.
I hope this is not the case but to me he looked out of his depth which was worrying as playing Hull after all.
I hope I’m wrong but I thought he had a very poor game - added to which he got booked - again when he was off the pace.
I hope he gets better - I’m only commenting on one game. I haven’t seen much of him other than brief bits for Ukraine.
By the way - this is review I just found:

One game and you're disappointed? Bit mad that mate, he's got to get used to the pace of the English game and get a few matches under his belt before we can judge properly. Don't forget he hasn't played a game since mid December so give the lad a break.
