Seen a couple of rumours in last few days of Richarlison wanting out regardless of whether we stay up or not.

I’d imagine with our financial predicament we wouldn’t stand in his way, however wonder what sort of fee we would be looking at with him being one of our best players and 2 years left on his contract?

Agree2 Disagree0

He thinks he is too good for us mate, get good money from him, we need a poacher not a diver.

Papers saying he wants to go to a team playing Champions league, and then talk about Man Utd coming in for him?
We paid 50m, so would expect a decent profit on top of that. If it was Utd 100m minimum, I mean they like overspending don’t they.

Regarding our financial situation Adam Jones on a Q&A session on the echo said we will announce investment in the near future so hopefully that can sort that side out for us.

Don’t know how any Evertonian can question Richarlison’s commitment to our club.
No one could blame him for wanting to further his career. Get a good price yes, and go with our blessing.

Lee1616 he is to good for us.

Not having that Lee, Richarlison has always put in a shift and to be honest, stayed a lot longer than any other player, who would have been touting the press, at every International break.

He deserves a crack elsewhere, would love him to stay, but has given Everton everything and I for one would not begrudge him a move.

The comments reflect how you now regard our great club. A stepping stone for players to go on with our blessings. Pathetic. I'm sick of watching quality walk out the door. I'm sick of seeing us looming around mid table with no silverware season after season. Demand change. Demand players see out their contracts. Take control again. We are Everton Football Club! We are not some club with no ambitions other than to stay in the Premier league. Demand change. Demand that this is the last season we suffer like this. Vote with your feet. Do something at least rather than keep saying "he gave us everything, I don't blame him for wanting to go, he goes with my blessings ". Pathetic.

I agree, we need more of a winning mentality, why can't players come to everton to win trophy's?

17 Apr 2022 21:11:41
When you can bleed a cash cow for £80K+ a week, who needs to win anything? I know we differ on the manager skylark, but I do think we have a manager with a winning mentality who will create a winning mentality.

So what are you doing Pauly except whine? Are you voting with your feet? If you are, are you moving them quick enough?

Lee, I agree with DFS. if you represent our fans then Richy is too good for people who don't appreciate him.

Just don't get the hype around richy. If he wasn't Brazilian, we wouldn't be raving about him as much.

He has potential to be better than he shows. Runs into blind alleys or ends up with no end product. Almost like a Brazilian cadamarteri.

Think it was West ham, he was free and ballooned it over. Only goals he's scored in ages have been 2 penalties against a very poor Burnley side.

He closes down but with no urgency or effort, except the utd game. Makes me think.

I would much rather have Anthony Gordon.

First full season in 1st te and has been best player. Runs at defenders, gets stuck in. Does need to improve his end product but as I say only his 1st season whereas richy been in prem for 5 years or so.

Plus richy still loves to hit the floor rather than battling through the challenge andante creating something.

Richy wears the blue shirt s I will always support him (same with iwobi and kenny) but sell him and dcl and use any funds to improve the squad with young hungry players who have a point to prove, like Palace have done.

Richarlison is a good player and has been a great servant, always gave it his all so if he goes it should be with our blessing and good wishes. We have gone backwards and he wants to have a successful playing career so he should go and it's time. My fear is we sell him and buy utter trash to replace him. We can progress without him but only if we don't make a mess of the transfer replacement which I am not too hopeful about for obvious reasons.

Blue-tit. We have to buy clever. Look at the players who have been playing lower leagues and stepped up and have been playing really well this year.

Jarred bowen went from Hull to West ham.
James maddison from Norwich to Leicester
Son from mid table German team to spurs

There will be others but you get the gist.

If richy goes and we buy well then we will succeed. We don't need big names, we need heart, leadership, passion and willingness to learn to get better. like ya cahill's, gough's, etc.
