My head says 4-0 lpool but my heart says we will sneak it with a late, late goal.

I think if we were to lose 3-0 it would be an outstanding result. Every one of their players in each position is on a different level to ours. Add to that the fact they have far superior workrate and attitude and it's going to be grim viewing - but if we can limit the damage to our goal difference to only 3 I think we'd have to be pleased with that tbh.
{Ed0666's Note - Someone said to me today if Everton win it will be the greatest upset in modern day merseyside derby history. I agree. Something gives me the feeling the script won’t be so straightforward as a resounding Liverpool win ?

On paper, it’s a routine win for them.
If every match went as expected, football would not be the sport it is. 99 times out of a 100, we lose. If a few things go our way (which we’re due btw) and we perform at our best, who knows, could snatch a draw.

Red win. Hopefully not a hammering. Don’t think we will get on the score sheet. That’s my gut feeling.
If we are lucky, we could get a draw but it would have to be the dullest match in derby history.

Even if you swapped league positions now with Liverpool we would still get beaten. Supernatural type of thing going on preventing us even getting a point. but been flirting with relegation for years. this could be the time we drop. Burnley have more fight in them than we have that's why will be the difference.
Gutted, but facing reality as painful as it is. the club owes the fans for years of calamity, and atrocious players, and managers who take the big wages, who couldn't give a flying.

I, m not worried, I think all the pressure is on Liverpool, everyone is expecting a landslide, but football is a funny old game, one thing about being an Evertonian, there is no other team on this planet from doing the unexpected when you least expect it, than Everton.
I think there are a lot more Liverpool fans out there slightly worried, than Blues.
It is a game Liverpool are expected to win comfortably, but like I say, you just never know.

Based on team strength and current form we are not favorites but surprises happen all the time in football - just look at some of the results so far this season. Add to that the extra dimension of a derby match
As long as we walk out there at the start with our heads held high and come in after the game with our heads still held high anything might happen

Let’s face it we probably won’t even have a shot on target today. It’s away from home we are pure muck and they are a good side. We haven’t won an away match since August. These players are gutless, Hopeless, soft and have no talent. We are doomed again today I will be watching from behind the sofa by halftime I will probably be under the sofa hiding. Maybe let big dunc have 15 mins in the changing room by himself with the players lock the door let him loose see if he can slap some talent into these bums. we need something because they are embarrassing.

We never had a shot on target away from home in over 4 hours of football before the Burnley game so I ask again what am I supposed to be happy with. Yous guys are nuts if yous are happy with that. Yous need to wise up and open your eyes. Still waiting on what I should feel so happy about.
