If we apply that level of performance for the next 6 games we’ll be ok…pleased for Alli as he seems to be showing glimpses of the player he can be.
Just absolute sick and tired of the top Club bias from referee’s and media, how many games have been affected by poor officiating this season and not just Blues saying that, lots of neutral media analysts as well.
We’ll survive…just!

{Ed025's Note - I wish I could believe that Brett..

Agree0 Disagree0

Carraghers biased commentary on sky is what annoys me most about today. We weren't going there to win, but we played a decent game. Gordon was brilliant, but for carragher to award Origi man of the match is a joke and another dig at us.

24 Apr 2022 20:59:08
Blueray martin tyler was just the same biast throughout 90 but agree mate terrible.

24 Apr 2022 21:10:03
To be fair to Carragher he did say it was a stonewall penalty as well.

24 Apr 2022 21:10:29
If we look at geoffs predictions for Burnley they will now get 38 points. I can't see where we will get the points we need. For the first time this season I have to admit that we stand a more than 50% of going down and each point less gets worse. I feel sick. I feel angry. I can't blame Frank or any others to be honest. I blame FM and the board. I have to let it all go now as constantly hoping and praying just leads to being unhappy. What will be will be.

24 Apr 2022 21:38:50
Jim Beglin was just horrendous! Although even he admitted it was a penalty - unlike Ed66 the grammar king!

{Ed0666's Note - My grammar is the worst ever!

24 Apr 2022 22:00:48
Thought mrs tyler commentated well today, took all of 3 minutes before he mentioned pickfords tackle on dick van dyke. The better side won bur only with the help of the officials, we set up to frustrate, pickford took half the time schmichael got away with on wednesday, we just don't get the big decisions.

24 Apr 2022 22:07:06
Nick. If we give Burnley 7 more points, we would have to get 3 wins, probably, Watford, Brentford and Palace.

We could also do with Leeds losing next 4 to keep them in the mix too.

Think villa on 37 are a bit too far so could say they are safe, especially if we hope they beat Burnley twice.

24 Apr 2022 22:27:52
My worry with villa as far fetched as this sounds is Gerrard may pick a poor team against Burnley to hasten our relegation and further cement his reputation as a Liverpool legend ?.

24 Apr 2022 23:07:36
I reckon we need to look at Leeds, they have got a bad few gamesto go yet. But we will need to find 7+ points from somewhere.

24 Apr 2022 22:50:50
Grammar aside Ed66
Do u now accept it was a penalty?

{Ed0666's Note - mate I really don’t. I just for the life of me cannot see it.

25 Apr 2022 01:56:46
Come on Ed not only did he foul him he even stood on his foot for good measure, penalty all Day long, his first one when he went to ground too easily cost him that second one, fooled the ref but where was var.

{Ed0666's Note - Mark Clattenburg who was set the standard for referees in my opinion has come out and said Atwell got every major decision correct. That’s good enough for me mate. Of course your always gonna get differing opinions but that’s football.

25 Apr 2022 02:14:33
Still say Lampard is holding Calvert-Lewin back for those three more favourable games, to try and get points there, watch Dcl make a miraculous recovery, after the Chelsea game, along with Delph, game was crying out for a like for like swap, either Allen or Doucoure after half time, for Delph.

Klopp made his changes, we did not, until it was too late.

One Manager spotted the need for change, fair play to Klopp.

25 Apr 2022 08:10:32
Clattenburg setting the standard is classic! He did the same for Electricians!

25 Apr 2022 11:02:51
Il take the defeat not a problem but them 2 yesterday co commentating was a joke i fought we actually played well just couldn't get a decent shot in final 3rd but i won't be watching us on sky no more rather listen to it if needs be.

25 Apr 2022 15:02:55
That the same clattenburg that listened to Gerrard all those years ago, to change a yellow to a red? C'mon ed066, that's like taking baby sitting advice from Jimmy Saville!

{Ed0666's Note - one indiscretion doesent make him a bad referee mate. Clattanburg said the Ref was right not to award the pen carra said it was a penalty whose right or wrong? Do you go with the ex player whose should know all about giving penalties away or do you believe an ex official whose seen literally thousands of these tackles over the course of his career? Lampard cites the example of if that had been Salah it would have been a pen I’ve literally seen at least 25 occasions the exact thing or wise has happened to Salah and no resultant penalty. The facts remain you played really well, had a game plan which you executed well but you were lacking the final ball and that composure up front hence why you are in the bottom 3

26 Apr 2022 12:27:26
Or do you use VAR which is what it was supposed to be brought in for?

27 Apr 2022 03:55:54
Neither of them ed! But definitely not the ex ref who made the game all about him, especially when the cameras were there. It's all down to personal opinions mate, it was a pen for me all day.

{Ed0666's Note - again I feel we have to agree to disagree mate
