That’s cost us as much as the Burnley game. Typical.

No cocking around. We need 4 points from Brentford and Palace.

I make it Leeds beat Brighton and Newcastle.

And Burnley lose to Spurs but beat Villa and Newcastle.

Forget Arsenal - we all know we get nothing there.

So it’s 40 points and it’s down to us as much as the players. We MUST keep it going - rock Goodison Sunday and Thursday - no matter what - all scenarios - now matter how bad we are - in front or behind - this is life or death - nothing else matters - COYB.

Well we can speculate all we want but Brighton just beat United 4-0 and Newcastle are no pushover these days so if Leeds lose one of there two games we only need a point from our three remaining games to stay up on goal difference. Leeds look the most vulnerable but anything can happen so I agree with you 40 points should be our goal.

7 points from Chelsea, Leicester (away) and Watford (away) I think we would all have taken that beforehand wouldn’t we? Four points away from home is the real bonus I think. We’re two points clear of Leeds who have two games left. So need to win both to get to 40 points - real pressure on them. Which means Everton can just concentrate on their own games, four points from the next two and we’re fine. Goodison will be rocking!

The good thing is Leeds and Burnley play before us on sunday, so we should know what we need when we kick off, as they will have one and 2 games left, respectively

We know 4 points should be enough on goal difference but we may not need that many.

Whatever we need, we must roar the lads on, scream, shout and sing on Sunday to be the 12th man.

I'm not sure how that's as damaging as losing to Burnley we took a point and have 7 points from our last 9 with two wins against better teams than ours so keep ya chin up bud and look at the positives not the negatives.

Leeds look like they are cracking under the pressure, can't see them getting a win against brighton.

Yesterday was a missed opportunity of course but we have had a lot of very intense games recently and maybe just lacked the edge to get the win. Breaking down teams has never been our strong suit.

Regards the Arsenal comment above, we beat them this season while in an awful rut, we beat them on their turf last time we were there so no idea how you can say you 'know we won't get anything there'. Arsenal do not like it when teams harrass them and we can do that just like we did to Chelsea, UTD and Leicester.
