Hey ed025,

Curious to know what business (realistically) you'd conduct this Summer?

Who Would you sell, and what replacements do you have in mind?

Cheers.

{Ed025's Note - its hard to speculate who will come jay, my outgoings would be... coleman, keane, gomez, allan, alli, rondon, mina, kenny, dacoure and holgate to start with, and if DCL wanted to go i would not shed many tears mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Cheers for the response, Ed.

Going to be a bit summer, I think.

What’s the issue with Dele Alli? I’ve heard Everton will probably look to sell, which is odd as he was Lampard’s man.

I would keep Ali Ed025, we just have anyone else in midfield with any creative flair. Mina is a good center-back, it should be the medical staff call, the question being "can we keep him fit"? Keep DCL for another year see how he does. The rest you mention together with Van de Beek, Tosun, El Ghazi and Delph can go. Problem is "who can we bring in to replace them"? It is going to be a massive rebuild, let's hope Moshiri and Kenwright keep out of the picture and leave the recruiting and team building to Lampard and Thelwell.

{Ed025's Note - I’m not sure about frank to be honest Mike. I think we got lucky and would give him the first 10 games to show if he’s up to it. Nice guy of course but does he have what it takes to turn around this shambles of a club? I very much doubt it mate..

Coleman would be valuable cover at rb and cb and as club captain, I’d keep him. Also wouldn’t be too upset at any of the other names leaving, although it’s hard not to have noticed the spark that Dele Alli is capable of, and the striker Dom could be if fit and served well.

{Ed025's Note - I love seamus JB but I’m afraid his race is run. Give him a coaching spot maybe but should never be near the team. Alli and DCL lack desire for me mate. Yes they have had injury issues but I don’t think they have the heart..

Ed025 find it hard to disagree with you there but I would add the rest of the first team squad to that list. I'm sorry but I don't see a winner in any of them. We need a new attitude. We need winners. We don't have a single one. Also before anyone shouts "what about Richy? " He was part of the team that put us in this position! Where was he for the previous 30 odd games? Had enough me.

{Ed025's Note - I can’t argue with you pauly. If we could get top dollar for him he could be on the list as well mate..

So no attempts at fantasy football (with regards to incomings) , ed025? ;p.

{Ed025's Note - fantasy football for me jay is watching my team put in effort and pride in wearing the famous blue shirt..

21 May 2022 07:49:17
Because Richy was part of a squad who have not performed he should go? His effort was never in question. One man cannot win a game of football.
Regardless, I think he’ll go as we need the funds and he’ll be keen to play for a higher profile club. He’s clearly not appreciated anyway and so who could blame him.

21 May 2022 09:05:45
Richy deserves a better club than we are able to offer him at this moment, but also our club deserves better players than what the players offer us, we where fortunate to avoid the drop let's hope its a wake up call for the club and wholesale changes are made to the diabolical way it's been run.

Keep Coleman lol guys wise up he wouldn’t pass his M. o. T for gods sake he is getting his bus pass soon.

Sorry Ed but disagree with you on Frank. You ask if he has what it takes to turn around this shambles of a club, but surely he’s already shown that he has?

We were terrible when he came in playing rubbish football with some abysmal players with toxic fans and in freefall heading straight to the championship.

However in a short space of time he’s managed to get a tune out of several of our players and got enough points to keep us up. He’s also managed to get the fans back on side.

He also genuinely seems to get the club and what it means - which is the first time in a long time we’ve had a manager like that. When other than Duncan was on touchline have we had a manager that lives and breathes what’s going on on the pitch?

If he’s done all that in a relatively short space of time I’m more than happy to get behind him and see what he can do for us going forward.

{Ed025's Note - i would love him to be the answer dan, but unfortunately the team are still awful and terrible to watch, now i know rome wasn,t built in a day mate but he had the best players in the championship with derby and failed miserably, i dont want to keep chopping and changing managers and it would be great if frank was the answer but i dont feel he has the credentials to fix this toxic giant, but of course that is just my opinion..
