Out of contract, Tosun, Kenny, Delph, Siggusson, and Frank not likely to make Van de Beeks or El Ghazi move perminan should give us wiggle room for a few incomings.

As long as we can balance the books and improve the squad, that’s all we ask for isn’t it?

Who is the next Anthony Gordon? Are their any lads in the U23s that are ready to step up this summer?

Welch, Onyango, Price, Dobin, and Warrington would be my guess.

Hopefully sa one or two of them will be as good as Gordon mate.

Sadly I'm not sure I'd want to sign if I was a player, where like the Bermuda triangle for 20 to 40 mill players, scraped survival and our problems well documented.
we might have to rely on those youth players breaking through like Gordon, and hopefully a couple of shrewd buys or loans,

Wolf - if you were offered £100k per week to kick a ball about, get injured, spend most of your time in the treatment room or on the subs bench you seriously wouldn’t be interested?

I.

Probably Isaac Price as he was given minutes in our final game.

Apparently we’ve numerous shining talents in the under 23s - cannon, Warrington, Dobbin, onyago, Whittaker, welch and Tryer to name a few.

Problem is until they are given a go in senior team we’ll never know if they are ready to step up. Our previous managers never seemed to be convinced or willing to try them.

Hoping Frank will give them a good go as he dipped into the under 23s at Chelsea when they had a transfer embargo and it worked well.

I’m definitely more confident of us seeing the under 23s given a chance to prove themselves with Frank as the manager - could be exciting times ahead if we’ve got some ready made talent at our disposal that will strengthen the squad without costing crazy transfer fees.

Premier league managers rarely look to give youngsters a chance to develop, use too many and you get sacked for poor results while the man in charge 3 years later gets the benefit. Mourinho once said young players get you sacked so look for a ready made player where you know what you are getting. I think this is the reason most young players get loaned out to lower league clubs and the vast majority end up there. I find this outlook ridiculous as there are numerous examples of 20-22 year olds coming from abroad with over 100 games under their belt while our kids are usually classed as not ready at that age.

I know it's hard to judge with it being League 2 but my nephew is a massive Tranmere fan and reckons Warrington is a class act. Composed on the ball, good passing range, vision and not afraid of getting stuck in. Played mainly in a midfield 2 so has really come on physically over the past six months, he also said that when things didn't come off for him it was more down to teammates not being on the same wavelength rather than him making mistakes. Hopefully can make the step up.

Decent player Warrington, one you have all missed off, who I think will make it is Stanley Mills, looks quality.
