I don't think Moshiri should carry the can for all the mess we are in. When he signed Koeman few would have complained at his choice and it was Koeman who really started the stream of awful buys. Siggy a statue who takes good free kicks but could not run or tackle. way overpriced. a Welsh international centre back who was at the end of his career and way too slow to defend us. rooney a great former player but not what was required, Klassen another number 10 who had not been picked up at 24 by any other progressive team. another 25 mil down the drain. Keane. a centre back who does not have the self confidence to breed confidence in his defensive partners. Koeman really cost us. the best thing he did was tell Ross Barkley he was nothing like as good as he or Martinez thought. Undoubtedly Moshiri has been naive in some areas but it does not all fall on him. We have simply paid over the odds for players managers wanted because they know they have little time to get it right before the sack looms. Marco on transfer deadline day being an obvious example. Liverpool have undoubtedly bought well and got signings in for the future but they are in a position to do so. attractive to all players.
Everton need to be savvy. scout the world around and pick up the next stars as opposed to the established or failing ones. I think Moshiri deserves the chance to see his investment bear fruit. He put his hand is his pocket when no one else of any stature was coming forward to buy Everton. we may have wasted a lot of money but not every call was his. He was always going to have to learn lessons as he went along. I like the humility of his apology and would rather see him develop as an owner than have some unknowns come in and be the plaything of someone just interested in football as an investment toy.

I agree its probably not all Moshiri's fault for the mess we are in. From the outside it looks like there have been a catalogue of errors made and I don't think they can all be put at Moshiri's door. To be fair he has consistently put his hand in his pocket to provide short term funds for the club, unfortunately his money hasn't really been spent wisely.

It's not all Moshiri's fault but he's the man in charge so has to bare most of the responsibility. The rest of the board who have failed to stand up to him should follow him out the door

I wouldn't shed a tear for any of them. Based on the last 5 years they haven't improved us from a footballing standpoint and that's what Everton is - a football club.

There’s just so many things that have gone wrong. We need stability from the top and Moshiri hasn’t brought that. I credit him for backing his choices and spending where he has been asked but the meddling of outside influences doesn’t reflect well on him. The constant changing of manager hasn’t helped either. Certainly agree that the Koeman appointment could have been the worst appointment of the lot. Does anyone remember the days when it used to be simpler than this? I seem to have forgotten them.

I think Farhad Moshiri's dealings with agents in the shadows with separate agendas and so on, will blight his end of ownership summary whatever is typed on here to be absolutely honest.
