It’s typical isn’t it that with us linked to so many Chelsea players on loan and I know we can only have two, that our first game is against Chelsea and we couldn’t play them anyway. It’s almost as if the fa were conspiring against us ?.

I see they kept the greedy 6 away from each other as well on the 12th Nov don't tell me it's not fixed add in sky advertising the opening live games minutes after the fixtures were announced it's almost like they knew them.

They kept the top teams apart on purpose as Southgate ask for it to help england in the world cup I believe so yes it was ment to be this way.

I agree with Gingerdan this just shows that once again the greedy 6 get treated differently to the other 14 clubs unless your saying international players at those 14 clubs are not as important as the ones who play for the greedy 6.

so GuernseyBlue are you saying that after England asked the FA to keep the greedy 6 apart on the 12th November and the fact they were kept apart was pure luck as to me it screams they were kept apart on purpose and shows a complate lack of respect towards the other 14 clubs by saying your players are not as important at the greedys 6s players.

The thing is Ed as we English say is that we like to be ridiculous and poke fun at our selves and we continue with jokes like the whole Riquelme thing, we know there isn’t a conspiracy against us but it’s nice to have a ridiculous moan and blame the fa . It was widely reported that the FA had asked for the pre her league to try and avoid the top 6 teams playing each other in last weekend before the World Cup.
Gareth Southgate was also quoted before the Hungary game ‘We have asked the Premier League to have a think about things, but we also understand that the fixture programme is very complicated. ‘We’d have a preference for none of those big games but to be honest the difference it’s going to make is fairly marginal.
He was also quoted in March as saying 'What would help is if we don't get a derby or those sorts of 'big six' games, '
Highly likely that the fixtures just fell the way they have but it’s no surprise people are questioning them with quotes like the above being in public domain.

What does it matter? Everyone plays everyone. There’s no conspiracy and even if it was fixed how do they get around injuries and fixture pile up if they get good cup runs. We beat Chelsea Arsenal and United last season when we were on our knees. So I don’t really care when we face them. I just hope we can put our best 11 out and enjoy the game.

Definitely a conspiracy; I heard the people who decided the fixtures also decided Brexit, have the Arteta money, are responsible for the JFK shooting, 9/ 11, and the reason why the Gocompare guy keeps getting work…
At the end of the day, they all get to play each other. If that means it is rammed over the festive period / towards the end of the season then that is when it is. I’d have thought what happened with us and the congestion of games at the end of the season this year gone would show it is not necessarily a good thing. I’d rather have them spread over the year myself. It could even benefit squads with less internationals in them.

Total non story this. The fact that they have changed the fixtures, or at least kept the top 6 away from each other on that particular weekend, is to help the national team prepare for the world cup. Can't see much of a problem here, how is that helping those clubs? If anything, it is helping those that are selected for international duty by not having top of the table clashes right before the tournament. Can't see a problem with that, hopefully the move will be justified by England winning the world cup!
