Rumours have been circulating for a long time about Kean being involved with swap deals for PSG players etc.
How exactly would that work if they still owe us money for him?

Sorry Ed but how would that work for us?
If we’ve loaned him to juventus and they want to do a swap deal for a player at psg they potentially both get what they want but what do we get?
We loaned him with a clause they need to buy him at end of 2 year period so if they swap him who pays us the fee that would be due at end of his loan?

Everton wouldn't swap a player for him. Juventus have an obligation to buy him next season. They want to sell this season and pay us so they forfeit the loan amount for the 2nd year. It wouldn't help our P/ S. Maybe Juventus will swap a player with PSG but until they buy him they can't.
It's been a disaster as I predicted 12 months ago, he hit his ceiling before he joined us. Kean used us as a stepping stone but for him it's a slow stepping stone down from here as he hasn't got what it takes, talented he may be but he's just another mediocre player because he hasn't got the attitude and mentality to turn his talents into something great although he is young enough to adjust that attitude of he wants to.
Ironically his level is around ours and that's where he'll end up. Some average team or a minor champs league team as a fringe player.

Thanks Ed. So if we are getting players instead of a fee could an example be they would say swap Kean for Parades and then they would swap a player from their roster to us for giving them kean e. g. Pellegrini?

The only player i could see them giving us is Pellegrini. McKennie and Rabiot wouldn't come near us. Knowing us it will end up being a 34 year old Cuadrado.

I honestly don’t get why we’d want to do that - surely we’d want the cash for Kean so we can use it to buy a player or players we actually want?

Probably juve just trying to do what they can to avoid paying a fee Dan. But I do agree we'd be better off with the cash.
