Seen the reports that we will loan Branthwaite out. Dunno if I agree with that tbh unless we're going to keep Mina and keane which atm looks unlikely we will keep both.

I find it frustrating that we’re looking at loaning him out, he’s probably our best centreback when you compare him to Mina and Keane. To me makes no sense. Would much rather pair him up with Tarkowski so he can develop.

I would keep him myself but if he is loaned out it would have to be to a prem club or a higher team in Europe like PSV or someone where he will get higher standard of football.

Doesn’t make sense to me, why have Holgate and Keane at the club ahead of him, when he’s clearly going to be better than both.

If you watch the games he has played in I do get the sense that he is not yet quite ready
for the premier league. This is not to say he is worse than Keane or Holgate as many times they do not look ready for the premier league but you assume that Frank will start with
Tarkowski and Godfrey or Mina and Holgate as back up when is he going to play. He might as well get experience elsewhere.

I think a year out player regular football will do him and us (following season) the world of good.

Agree with gingerdan. Makes no sense. Personally I'm very fed up with what I'm reading and I hope it's paper talk or this Club have learnt f/ all. Winks for 20 million is simply atrocious business meanwhile let one of your best young players (a player who can a fill a position we are desperately lax in think holgate Keane et al) and we let him slip out the door?!?!?

I would start tarkowski with branthwaite. That is my ideal centre back partnership with Keane holgate and mina sold ASAP. Godfrey to fill in across the back 4 then need 1 more centre back.

Is this the same Branthwaite everyone was slagging off for getting sent off? He’s just a kid and still needs time to develop. Would make perfect sense to loan him out.

Totally agree with Woburn, the lad needs regular games rather than a start here and there and I can't see that happening with us. A loan to a decent championship team would be helpful to his development.
