Looks like West ham have won the race for Broja, season long loan, Frank's Chelsea connection might not be as strong a pull as rumours have it, IF we were going for him, that is! Think European football is a big issue with lots of players and that's where we'll have to really sell the club to convince a player to sign or pay over the odds wages to turn their heads! I'm sure lots going on behind the scenes but jeez we always seem slow to confirm anything. It's quite frustrating when you see all around the signings linked and rubber stamped.! But I know the money issues regarding what we have to spend, is clearly taking its toll! . We'll just have to wait, patiently ?.

Although I can see why he would go to west han over us, perhaps we’re saving our loan slots for other positions, if Cornet comes in then he’d be playing the same positions as Broja.
On the subject of Cornet, I think he would be a shrewd signing for where we’re at. He’s a very good player for a team in the bottom half, which is where we have to accept we currently are.

I think the key thing TomTom which as you mention is “if we were going for him”
There are so many rumours about who we’re in for we’ll never actually know until we see them signed by us.
Broja did ok last season at Southampton, but didn’t set the league alight with his goal scoring exploits. He’s only young and will likely improve, however not sure he would have been the answer to replacing Richarlison goals this upcoming season.

If Broja wants to start games as a no.9 he’s going to struggle to get in our team ahead of Dom. West Ham have more games, European football, and the lad already lives in London.

Agree with all the above folks, I like the look of the pair of them and I was so disappointed when Burnley signed Cornet and we didn’t get involved with the transfer then as I rate him above Digne for sure. My only concern with him is his fitness record, Burney certainly missed him for periods last season!
