I personally don't think DCL has what it takes.
If we could get a big fee for him then sell. We need to stop the defensive, one man up top, system that never works for us. 2 strikers and then we're in business.

DCL should be kept for one more season at least. We need goals from somewhere and, if he can hit the levels of the other season, he will win us points along the way. Selling him now would be suicidal, we've already lost our other main source of goals, lose another and we will be lucky to survive in the prem.

One lucky season remember he never played 1 minute in the euros last year simply not good enough thinks he's better than what he is then again he's not the only one we have long hard season ahead.

He saved us from going down in last few games!
FFS DCL was injured most of last season and yet guys r having a pop before this season starts when Frank has said he’s looking really fit!
Try supporting our only striker in the squad and get behind the young lad before a ball has been kicked!
Who else is going to get the goals to keep us up?

DCL is the best we have. I actually think that with better service he is a 20 goal a season striker. Let’s not slate him please but rather we should look to strengthen the wings to improve service to him.

PHH, some fans just love to run everything down, think they thrive on everything negative. He may have only had one good season, as you put it Dazza, but wasn't that the first season he had been trusted to lead the line? Injuries curtailed him last season so we will find out if it was a fluke over the next season or so. Providing we have players who can spot a pass or deliver a decent cross. As a fan base, we are too quick to write off our own players!

Behave yourself pighead. He has cost us more games with inability to go 1 on 1 with a keeper. He had a good manager in ancelotti who made him a 6 yard poacher. He's not the answer. What has a dress got to do with it? Bloody hell, he was injured and unfit last season. If we sold him, we would only get a lesser replacement. When fit he is the only player that is anywhere near being prolific. Sell our best goal scorer? Who do you recommend replacing him with?

Agree with you there, Brownshoes. He can wear whatever he likes, it's absolutely nothing to do with me or anyone else. I might be from a different era or something but I tend to judge footballers on how they play football not what they wear.
