Just a hypothetical question, if we signed another right back as we have been linked with Max Aarons.
Do you think Coleman maybe used on the right of 3 centre backs? Just a thought?.

I think it will be a good move for him, maybe hasn't got the legs to get up and down the wing but still a good defender.

I think if we sign this other left back we may also see Mykolenko deployed on the left side of three centre backs at times as he has played there for Ukraine at times.

I’m sorry guys but Coleman should be nowhere near the first team.
He’s been an outstanding player for us but he’s not premier league level any more.
Think definitely deserves a role at the club - be it a coaching role or something similar but definitely shouldn’t be starting games for us
As to suggest playing him in the centreback position to me makes no sense as he’s one of the smallest players in the squad. We can’t defend corners as it is, so not sure how putting a small player in there will help with that.

I think Seamus has been a wonderful player for us over the years but his legs are definitely going now, as good says he needs replacing and maybe move him into coaching, real deal he was and what a bargain.

Absolutely the bargain of the Premier league era. A legend and unfortunately due to the obvious chaotic recruitment failings the last 3 years, he should have been gracefully phased out with suitable replacement found and transitioned into the backroom set up. His legacy has been tarnished through no fault of his own. Though Everton fans know the truth of it. He isn't going to (or shouldn't) displace any of our CBs (in a 3) but I'm sure he will be useful in reserve for one last season. He finds a way. True pro.

I think he’s useful to have in the squad, for one more year, not as a starter but he can play in a back four at RB or in a back 3/ 5 as a RCB/ RWB. Even if he Only plays a handful of games he’s good to have around.

Coleman been great for us going forward buy defending never his strong point.
Lost so many runners over the last couple of years leading to goals.
Retire him and make Tarks the captain.

Maybe as a no6, sit in front of cbs, or even split them and push wbs further forward.
