I think all the criticism towards McNeill is a little bit harsh and uncalled for. Lads not even kicked a ball for us. Yes his goals and assists are poor but got to remember that Burnley were never a free flowing football team. Always defending and on the back foot. So he's not really going to shine is he. Bet he flourishes in a better team. How many players are world beaters until they go to a different team and play poor as style doesn't suit them. Well hopefully McNeil will be other way round and turn into a fantastic winger for us. Let's him kick a ball 1st before judging and slagging him off.

I don't mean to slag players off but calling his goals and assists poor is being excessively kind. They are absolutely abysmal. We're not slagging players off, it is simply stating facts. And we weren't exactly much better than burnely last season.

I agree good luck to the lad we need more of the attitude the new guys will bring, far to long we've had players who coast through games.

There are elements to his game even Dwight wants to improve but then if what I have read is correct he had the 2nd highest successful dribbles in the prem and created more chances than anyone in our team last year!
So imagine him feeding DCL!
Come on lads, look to the positives of his game.

Not got a manager that people want to slate at the moment (yet) so it's onto the players - even ones that have just signed and haven't kicked a ball for the club yet. Ridiculous in my humble opinion. Too many fans (including the embarrassing 27 years brigade) have quickly forgotten what happened when we got behind the team in the last 2 months of the season.

The criticism isn't aimed at mcneil. My criticism I'd absolutely of the board and the nonsensical recruitment over the last 5 years which continues.
