Only 20% possession, had we been playing away then that would be understandable. But we're the home team .
Hate this type of football, never works as it's near impossible to defend for 90 mins.
Again subs should have been made earlier. It was pretty clear that Young was struggling with the pace of their winger. Would have made sense to bring Patterson on for Harrison just to shut that threat down.
Really want Dyche to succeed as am sick of this manager merry go round. But he has to realise that playing at home is different to playing away.
{Ed025's Note - possession means sod all Woburn, Brighton are a toothless tiger and although they had a lot of the ball never looked like scoring, for me we done well with the means at our disposal and the only way they were going to score was by a fluke...which sadly came to pass, its all about points at the minute mate and i thought we were unlucky not to get 3..

No way was Young to blame for their goal, if anyone feels let down it should be us, that was a blatant foul in our box, again poor reffing and it cost us dear.

That's how I saw it ED. He really needs a kick up his backside with his substitutions though. Young was always going to get skinned, age and tiredness doesn't help.
{Ed025's Note - i thought as a unit we were excellent DFS, of course i would like us to be more expansive but it is what it is with our squad, substitutions could have altered the shape which was working well so i dont have a problem with that today mate, i thought we were very unlucky..

I do agree with ed25 and gb, Young was not to blame and we were defensively solid and they did not look likely to score. But I do think Patterson for young or Harrison would have shut mitoma down and the goal would have been avoided.
Dyche needs to make subs before these incidents happen. If this was a one off, then maybe dyche escapes any criticism, but it's a regular occurrence with him.
{Ed025's Note - it could have made a difference Chris but im trusting in Dyche before anyone on here mate.. :)

Yeah you're probably right and it's easy to say what should be done in hindsight. I thought we played really well and it's promising for the season moving forward.
Really annoying to concede like that and the refs abysmal performance. If it wasn't for bad luck we'd have no luck.
{Ed025's Note - yeah Chris i thought we done well, they are no mugs mate and we never looked like losing that imo, one stroke of bad luck and we copped an unfortunate one...it happens..

If the bloody ref wasn’t a cheat we should have had a pen.

We worked hard today and it nearly came off against a good side who arr way infront of us, the difference is we are a strong in defence and we are creating, but I do feel like I would of made some changes, , maybe put doucoure in the middle, put garner out on the right and take off Harrison, he was none existent today, and brought on danjuma to give abit more off an attacking threat, but before the game a point was what I was hoping for so today its abit bitter sweet,

Ref wasn't a cheat GB, he wasn't wearing his contacts is all. VAR has also taken referees decision making away from them.

Sorry don’t agree. If you’re going to give a team 80% possession then you will eventually concede. Feel sorry for the players, they’re doing everything they are told to do. Strange that once they scored we had a go at them and nearly scored a winner.
Why not do that from the off?

Ref wasn’t a cheat he disallowed their goal which was a very close call.
Liverpool targeted Young and Brighton did the same. All it needed was to give the guy support or subbing him. neither was done and in both games it cost us.
