Onana goes to Villa for £50 million we can definitely tell the Man Utd to take a jump.

{Ed001's Note - please stop using manure to refer to them. It originated from a nasty song about the Munich disaster that West Brom fans started singing. Basically it referred to the United team as being manure on the runway. It is offensive to use it for that reason. I know it seems like just a way of twisting their name, but it has far deeper meaning mate.}

There’s nothing to say we still won’t lose Branthwait to United as the asking price represents a huge profit which will be difficult to turn down. We have debts to manage and a stadium to complete. So for the people who are involved in these areas this might be an opportunity not to be passed on.

I dearly want him to stay but we’ve been here before so should be realistic.

Sorry Ed did not know that, that’s awful.

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate, just thought I should explain it rather than just edit it out when I am on here.}

Think DCL will be next mate, doubt Onana will make a big difference to our Team.

Yeah thanks for doing that mate, long time ago that tragedy eh.

If we are seriously looking at building for the future, then 22-year-old international players should not be deemed not good enough.

I’d not heard that either Ed01 - just thought people were calling them rubbish by using it. That’s horrific - how can people come up with stuff like that?

If we can sell him for £50m we might be able to buy some more attacking options. Here’s hoping.

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea BR, it sickened me when I heard it. Our first Man Utd editor on here found me the song the West Brom fans sang, as I couldn't believe people could be so sick. But he was right, people really are horrible.}

Best not to talk about them at all Ed001. I lived and worked in Manchester from 1966 to 1970 and since I only had a motor-bike and sometimes couldn't get to Goodison would rather watch City at Main Road. We had a cheap house in Chorlton-cum-Hardy and Ken Barnes who had been the City Captain lived opposite (with his son Peter) . Dennis Law was a regular visiter. Just shows you how different the wages have changed since that time.

Ed001 just in relation to what you said about the man utd song. From reading this site for years I can genuinely say Guernsey comes across as the most upbeat and positive person. I don't know him in any way shape or form, but from his posts I can't see him trying to cause harm in his posts. He doesn't strike me as that sort of guy.

{Ed001's Note - I know mate, that's why I had been just editing it up until now, but I thought I had best tell him in case he used it somewhere else.}
