Is Friedkin just playing a game here. He must have known about the 777 loan issue long before now. So is he stepping away to try and draw Moshiri into dropping his price?
Personally don't think this is finished just yet. If Moshiri can't find a buyer to meet his terms then perhaps he will look to a deal with Friedkin. As it may still end up his best option.

Morshiri is asking far too much for his shares, if it wasn’t for the recent financial bailout from 777 and others then his shares would be worthless with the club potentially going into administration, for anyone to take on the club’s debt of over 700 million and then pay him 500 million just doesn’t make sense for any potential buyers.

Hard to know for sure, but I reckon it could still be a goer and this could just be a bargaining move.

{Ed002's Note - A smokescreen perhaps?}

There must be more to it like Freidkin offered Moshiri £1 for his shares but he wanted £50 million was being reported.

{Ed025's Note - that would be a great discount GB.. :)

I personally think they will come back in IF Morshiri is prepared to compromise with their request.

Think it reported that that they are worthless hence the £1 pound mate.

{Ed025's Note - its Moshiri who,s worthless GB..

The Newcastle supporters believed she supported them Ed001. She's in it for the money mate so unless she has some rich Arab connections who have money to burn doubt if she would risk it.

They could double their offer GB ?.

I will give him £1000 for 200 shares. There's a start. But want a comfy seat in the new ground or no deal.
