Amanda Staveley, Andy Bell and George Downing may well be our best option atm.
She would bring decent contacts in the east as well as £500 million from her Newcastle departure. Andy and George are two people I think we would all love to have in the boardroom.

Very few owners were fans of their clubs before buying them. Same can be said for players. Carragher and Gerard both being boyhood Evertonians.

If she’s a scouser then she’ll realise all along she’s really been a closet blue and she’ll realise her life now has focus and purpose . If she’s an out of towner then she’s a manufactured red and really has no true allegiances anyway, I’m sure she’s been a Newcastle fan until recently so it makes no difference. If she buys in she’s a blue.
