So stats from yesterday showed as the home side 5 shots in total only 1 on target!
For me that's a big fat zero in progression from last season in relation to our attacking form!
I know it's only the first competitive game but it surely must be seen as a worrying sign!

Forward line of McNeil, Dacoure, Harrison and DCL. Probably the slowest forward four in the league.

Not the only thing that hasn’t changed from last season mate. Fed up of the post match interviews and Dyche always harping on about the state of the club that he took over, the problems of the past etc. He never goes on about the setup, tactics, performance of players.

He talks that bollocks about changing the story but he never changes his approach. You could have bet your house on that lineup before the game. What is the point of bringing new players in, who are clearly technically better than what we already have, if you aren’t going to play them. You see all the other clubs playing new signings but we can’t because “they aren’t ready for the PL”, well when are they going to be ready and how long is it going to take them to be ready. He says the same about the young kids, yet Liverpool and City etc give young lads game time to gain experience.

One thing we do know is that Young, Keane etc are not good enough. We know that because we have seen it with our own eyes. He says the kids aren’t good enough but we haven’t even given them a chance.

That first goal is just a a carbon copy of what we concede every season. Simple ball across the box. The whole of our defence ball watching and not looking to see where the danger is. Sunday league dross.

Dyche is a survivor not a winner. That’s why we don’t and won’t gain any momentum until we are in crisis. He knows no other way. He’s here to keep us in the league and will happily contribute to the crisis to provide the platform for the footballing world to then write about his value. Otherwise he’s a nobody. They all say how good defensively he is but honestly who has he signed to fix our full back issues?

He thinks that Holgate and Keane are worth minutes so I’m sorry. The only thing I can attribute to his style of play - his defensive nouse - is already teetering.

Attack wise he’s just garbage. He has a love affair with XG which is possibly the worst stat ever created (probably by sky to assist their betting revenue)

I cannot bare to watch the football which is why I haven’t been to Goodison for a year now. Although I’ve been to a few away games as it’s more suited to our style of practically zero possession.

So let’s not expect any change at all. It would be madness to expect that. In fact we should expect to have a tough time to set up his true value which is to save us from the drop.

We have a league 1 manager at the helm who only knows one way to play. The club needs to be fighting relegation for anyone to see it.

He makes me sick. How dose a manager of such limited ability get a job at our great club?

{Ed025's Note - thats how far this once great club has fallen Ace..

I would be surprised if they renew his contract next summer - I think they just want him to steer us to mid season (which I’m starting to worry won’t happen) .
