I've left out any caretaker role and just concentrated on those who became actual manager of the club.
It's hard to draw comparisons due to the different amount of games they were all in charge for but you can draw your own conclusions.
Stats don't tell the entire story, the RK and SA season was one of torture playing style wise yet the stats say they both did OK that season.
Out of them all, as with many of our fans I'd imagine, Carlos was by far the best we've had under FM. If only he hadn't attempted to bring a Real Madrid player in on loan, we may have kept him for another season.

Very interesting but it is not just about statistics but about the entertainment quality. Yes it is nice to win and it is a business so winning more than loosing is necessary. But it also has to be entertaining and of such quality that you want to watch more of it and it will attract more supporters. SD quality football is just dire and after a while even born and raised Evertonians like myself will tire of it and I can't imagine anyone who begins to support a club would pick Everton under SD.

Totally agree, BM, not many on the list have offered us much in the ways of entertainment over the last 10 years or so mate. I did say you can't really compare the stats to any great effect. There are many variables that can distort the stats, quality of the squad being one example.
I think SD is on borrowed time and, luckily for him, there doesn't seem to be anyone making the major decisions behind the scenes right now. That said, another couple of defeats on the bounce should probably see him shoved out the door and then we start again! The FM era promised so much but hasn't lived up to hype.

I think we were z better watch under martinez but slightly more dynamic under carlo. The rest were sh*t.

Martinez in his first season had us playing well, dentie, but his management of defensive play was brutally exposed the next year. It was hard not to like the man but his stubbornness got him the boot in the end. Gutted that we couldn't go to the games under Carlos, by far my favourite manager for some time.

I agree bluepotato but that 1st season for martinez was something else lol.

Think the players bought have a big say in the win ratios. It’s scandalous to think of all the money we have wasted over the years. If we had bought some quality players, some of those managers might have won more. Martinez did have Lukaku which made a big difference.

It makes you think what could have been if FM had taken advice from people who knew what they were talking about, BR.

when the business that is Everton football club, is this skint and broken, staring in to the black hole unless an unrealistic super bidder comes to save the day

then the entertainment value of football isn't actually a factor anymore, it doesn't matter as a business, sad as that is.

the only thing that matters is EFC remaining to be a PL side, keeping the PL money intake to give themselves any hope of staying afloat until said new owners do happen.
