Perry Groves on Michael Keane " he always looks unbalanced to me, like a baby giraffe on roller skates". Couldn't have put it better myself.

It's his 10 to 2 feet how can you be properly balanced or able to kick a ball with his gate he's useless he'll get us relegated and SD the sack.

I can't blame Keane, he is just thankful to be making in a week what most of us earn in a year, for being useless at his job. SD is the one to blame for picking him week in week out.

Keane is the only central defender in the world who's body gets smaller as he jumps into the air to challenge for the ball.
{Ed025's Note - Pickford as well LALD..

I’m no fan of Keane, however he wasn’t at fault for all 3 goals - just the first. The second was Harrison with an unlucky clearance and the third was a screamer.
I’ve been eager to see what O’Brian can do but was underwhelmed with his performance when he came on. Wasn’t overly fast and was quite cumbersome, looked like a booking waiting to happen which it did. Hopefully he improves with game time as on that performance he doesn’t look like he’ll be shoring up the defence anytime soon.
{Ed025's Note - i would agree with that Dan, it seems that the recruitment has not been totally to Sean,s liking and more of a Thelwell choice rather than the manager to me mate, just another facet of this broken club and the way its been run in recent times..

Based on his continual use of Keane and Young I don’t think I’d want dyche in charge of recruitment.
Would definitely leave Thelwell in charge of recruitment as he’s got an eye for talent, just a shame he never had the backing to get some of the players we were linked with over the line.
Thelwell clearly sees something with O’Brian, just hope he gets the chance to develop and show us what he’s capable of.

Go and watch the goal back. The whole backline were flat-footed and caught watching. The amount of times they get caught out, you would expect them to better set for the simple clipped balls through.
Harrison was unfortunate, it wasn't through lack of trying that he caused the goal, it just so happened to end up in the worst possible position. Keane was marking Watkins and was jogging as the ball got clipped in If he had more about him, he would have been closer to Watkins and able to cut the ball out or at least make contact with Watkins to at least stop him from having such a comfortable finish.
Their 3rd goal, the "warrior" Tarkowski turning away and dodging the ball. Exactly what you want from your centre half.
The first goal, not only did Keane show he couldn't jump. He showed what a simpleton he is. Look at his body shape. He had an eternity to judge that trademark high and hanging cross from Digne, as did Pickford btw.
More of the s*** served up. It is actually a disgrace that we still concede these types of goals. It would be much easier to take if we were getting played off the park and cut open with decent football, but they are just simple goals and lack of desire, effort and awareness.

I think with regards to recruitment it's seems it's more to do with can we get a decent resell price . than than what can this player do for us now. The Keane error? . mmmm a non jumping defender.

Pickford needs to watch some clips of Peter Schmeical - always make yourself bigger, just common sense.

Pickford has been immense for us and kept us up. But the whole team has the wobbles. Dyche is quick to blame the team, but he's hardly inspiring is he? They need belief in themselves and belief in a system. Neither of these things exist and it's all on Dyche.
