So Thelwell has come out with a statement which defends Dyche in what he's doing at Everton Football Club. He's working in difficult circumstances? I can't see what circumstances they are. Transfer window is shut and club being sold should not have any affect on Dyche trying to win football matches. Are the club blind to Dyche only using 1 tactic and same players? . We have some youth players who will give more on the pitch than some of these 1st teamers but youth isn't Dyches way. Why Sherif wasn't brought on for Beto on Tuesday is beggars belief. He was good enough for bench but not good enough to go on as a like for like replacement. I'm sick of hearing about problems at the club when any off field problems shouldn't affect Dyche and the team. Just play football and try win a bloody game. Some reports saying Dyche has credit in the bank after saving us last season! . So for the short term it looks like Dyche has full backing of the board. Sorry for the long rant but I'm sick of club officials trying to spew out bullsh*t as to why we should stick with Dyche, when it's clearly money orientated.

Agree NickB57. Everyone gave Thelwell pats on the back for reducing the wage bill but agreeing to give people like Ashley Ypung another contract is not great. I thought we got shot of Marcel Brands too quick. Everyone interfered and didn't let Brands do his job.

He has to come out and say that sort of stuff. Not as if he's gona come out and say he hates dyche, his tactics, player choices and won't play the players he has brought in who would do a better job. Majority of what they spout to the press is all front.
Personally I reckon they must butt heads dyche wants to play the same old players, thelwell brings in new attacking players and dyche is reluctant to play them because they don't fit his style. But my opinion is as worthless as what they say to the rags.

I agree FatChris89. We all know the team for tomorrow. Young RB, Keane in defence and probs Doucoure in team. I was watching an Everton channel on YouTube and they were saying that our only real pacey player (Roman Dixon) would revel playing against Leicester as his pace would frighten there defence. We all know attack is best for of defence, whereas Dyche thinks no possession and constantly defending is best for of defence. I'm not even looking forward to the game tomorrow. I was hopeful for this season but that's been knocked out of me with the terrible play and constant picking of players not good enough.

Koeman was awful, Silva and Martinez should maybe have got longer but With FM interfering I think any manager would have struggled to stay out for any length of time.

Good posts dentie yeah i agree seems the blame game is going around dyche using clubs finance situation to cover his own ass thelwell signings apart from ndiaye an tim hopefully obrien might become good but looked bit shaken rest havnt been doing much deli still at club on a huge wage young was brought in as backup yet he warrants gametime and keane well don't need say no more but his setup is poor booting the ball long and hoping for best and now he's using injuries as an excuse for are first 4 games am sorry but if we loose tommorow he deserves his p45 but i just can't see it the buck stops with the manager and if anyone on here is going to Leicester tommorow i absolutely salute youse.

What ever happened to player managers reckon shamus is made for that back in the days before the prem started they were a thing we should bring it back.
