Ref and his team took 6 minutes to make sure Newcastle had a penalty and 6 seconds to make sure we didn't.

Says it all mate.

05 Oct 2024 19:42:28
Always the same JB. No such thing as swings and roundabouts for us. You just know they won’t give us - the stats are eye watering.

Still, take the clean sheet and the point, hopefully we’ll have a few back after the beak, and some winnable games ahead. It’s definitely a positive, they grafted today at least and no Keane faux pais (well there was nearly one) .

05 Oct 2024 19:46:09
Think Keane and Young both had good games today.

{Ed025's Note - they did GB, there was a lot worse out there than them mate..

05 Oct 2024 19:52:29
Well a point is better than non but we have 33% possession at home, give the ball away constantly and run around like headless chickens. Can't wait to get rid of this Manager. Yes we should have had a penalty but we should not have to rely on refs decisions, we have to play better, play to win rather than not to lose and play some decent football and that will not happen under this charlatan.

{Ed025's Note - hes on borrowed time Mike...i hope..

05 Oct 2024 19:55:48
It was a penalty to them. Fair play the defence played well today.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about well DFS....maybe lucky mate..

05 Oct 2024 20:08:11
As you said there were worse out there. Slowly getting back to my stroppy self haha.

05 Oct 2024 20:09:13
It was definitely pen for them and can see why Dom's wasn't given, no complaints from me on those. Very scrappy game, we rode our luck at times and offered very little, Dom worked well but feeding on scraps, Ndiaye is our glimmer of hope and Garner was solid and should be kept at RB. Something to build on, hopefully Myko and Jarrad be back after international break and bit closer to seeing Broja. Not pretty by no means but not all doom and gloom, we have winnable games coming up and it will gel in time. We won't be in a relegation battle this season am confident of that.

{Ed025's Note - a bit early for predictions like that Mocker, we are awful mate..

05 Oct 2024 20:55:06
Their player prevented our player from striking the ball without playing the ball. It’s a pen for me, as was theirs.

05 Oct 2024 21:03:29
3 out of 4 of our defence today wouldn't make first team without injuries. Yet we don't concede and people still complain.

05 Oct 2024 21:32:17
They did okay blueray. My problem is we are the home side yet this numpty is always backfoot.

05 Oct 2024 21:45:14
Garner was man of match, Keane and Young played well Tarks was sloppy. So who are the 3?

05 Oct 2024 21:57:48
Our best back four. Coleman/ Patterson tarks, Braithwaite myko. Out of them who started? Tarks There's your answer.

05 Oct 2024 21:42:42
Agree we r awful Ed25
But… we aren’t and won’t be bottom 3 at end of season. However, our play is crao and our manager has no positive ideas. I pray our new owners realise this and put in place a real manager who has tactics but more so a structure in the whole club such as Brighton and Brentford have so even as managers and players inevitably move on, the team moves forward!
And one last statement - I pray to god they don’t appoint negative mysogenistic self centred prick!

{Ed025's Note - amen to that PHH..

05 Oct 2024 22:17:15
Tarks was the letdown today blueray.

{Ed025's Note - yeah DFS, hes been poor lately mate..

05 Oct 2024 22:41:37
I’m praying there are three worse teams than us this year. So far, Wolves, Palace, Southampton and Ipswich seem to be the contenders….

05 Oct 2024 23:00:16
There are!
And I wasn’t trying to be cryptic to Ed25 or any fellow blues. I personally think Jose mourinho is a cancer!

06 Oct 2024 04:10:24
Not a fan of the choice of words PHH (sensitive subject ha ha) but Mourinho is a dressed up piece of wood.

06 Oct 2024 09:41:52
Everyone was chirping about the penalty shout but how did Gana sky it from 6 yards out!

06 Oct 2024 17:20:39
There’s definitely a pen. Tarkowski losing the plot again.
Our not a pen Dom kicked the defender. Just surprised he made contact.

06 Oct 2024 20:33:31
Gana should have buried it. Burns stepped into Dom’s striking area - he should have been other side so I’d say a pen. If it happened elsewhere on the pitch, it’d be given for tripping.

Tarks was daft. No matter what Tonali had done, you can’t do that.
