So worrying to see DCL keep fluffing so many chances again in yesterdays match, his 1 on 1s are awful let alone his shooting, really wish Sean would grow some and get a couple of our youth strikers and give them a go, can't do any worse that what's happening at the mo, we should have been out of sight by half time yesterday, DCL is simply not good enough.

Putting a youth player up front on his own and asking him to take on three defenders would be crazy.

He played well yesterday and didn’t allow the defence to settle. Harried down and got into some great positions. He should’ve hade two yesterday and needs a bit of coaching still just to make him more efficient in front of goal. Replacing him is not the solution. Just look at Welbeck, looked a busted flush not long back but now is having a purple patch winning Brighton games. Well done to them for showing patience.

Absolutely not the answer GB to stick kids upfront on their own sorry. Dom is vital to us, yes it isn't happening for him in terms of goals and clearly confidence is low but his work rate and leading from the front is our best option for now, hopefully Broja can apply some pressure to him and allow a rest and it may all fall into place.

He isn't a natural finisher GB nor do we truly play to his natural strengths of getting crosses in the box, he needs someone playing off him or our midfielders breaking ahead off him, that's his game, a battering ram, trouble is our midfielders are too deep and not enough pace in the middle, added to his prolonged injuries and time out with mental health issues the lads clearly struggling and doesn't help our fans turning on him imo, the lad puts the effort in, remember saying a couple of times last season that you can clearly see he was hurt in his post match interviews by the fans on him which imo is way ott, you take a Hojlund at Man U or Darwin at the reds, both extremely wasteful but the fans not on them and helps that they have options to drop, we are over reliant on Dom have been for years even through his injuries, that's down to the internal management and our inability to address this and when we have we get Beto and our games don't play to his strength either and he is totally short of confidence and doubt settled off field. Hopefully Broja gives us a option and can hit the ground running otherwise no doubt the fans will yet again be on his back. Let's try back out players. End of the day we won yesterday and currently 4 unbeaten, small steps yes but steps forward, we are due to thump someone soon pal. We will be more than safe this season imo no problem.

Good post mate, at the end of the day it’s goals that win football matches he has to get better at scoring and quick, we have survived by the skin of our teeth, I want that to be a thing of the past buddy.
