Haven't listened to what the manager has to say about that game but I believe he will be happy with what he served us up this evening. Why has going the gane become such a chore? I leave the house full of optimism, for the most part, but within a minute of kick off I just know how the game is going to go. SD has made us the most predictable team in the league, possibly the country.
If we were a quality counter attacking team, I could understand why we sit back so feckin deep week after week. But we're not so why do we give up so much possession at home to teams that, no disrespect to Fulham, who haven't got the greatest team in the league? Winds me up just as much as the constant passing it back to JP, only for him to lump it up front and we lose possession.
Harrison was awful. We should not be signing him on a freenin the summer as he isn't good enough. He offers nothing whatsoever and, when teams see him and Young playing on the same side, they must be licking their lips. Big weak link for us.
Beto, rate him or not but he tries. Not the best player, and I'm one of his biggest critics, but credit where it is due. He outs himself about hut is erratic! Fair play to him tonight, he earned us a point out of nothing. Gana played well tonight and Youngs pass for the equaliser was superb. 7 months at most with SD in charge, I'm counting down the days me tbh. UTFT.

Think we are all pleased for Beto BP. It’s such a shame we can’t take the game to the opposition when at home.

I would have Beto before CL anyday, CL wants out.

Until we start playing two strikers no loan striker is going to do anything. Even pushing Keane up with Beto gave them problems straight away.

A few tweaks here and there, BR, and I think we could actually have a go at teams. Just sick of this defending so deep and inviting pressure, even against the 'smaller' teams. It's a hard watch mate.
Lee, I honestly would keep Beto on the bench as that is the only way he will be effective for us, cameo roles here and there. He works hard but looks so far out of his depth, regardless of his goal yesterday. The first thing the new ow ers need to sort for us is a proper striker that can actually find the back of the net most games.
NFM, even putting MK up front was a strange one, he could have put JB on for MK and left dcl up top with beto. I'd have liked to see dcl with someone next to him so he doesn't have to run the channels on his own.

Think most fans are upset this season because of exactly that BP. We definitely are far from relegation fodder this season yet we are setup in a retarded way and causing problems for ourselves we needn't. If we played and old fashioned 442 we'd easily be lurking on the edge of top 10. We don't need to be playing this way, we have some talented players. 2 seasons ago we needed to play like this but now it's the cause of our problems. We only come alive when we are losing.

I was going to mention that BP and you are right. But given Keane scored last week and Dom didn't I felt it was best not to mention and run the wrath of the Dom haters on here.

Agree with most of that, FBS, bar the fact that I think we can still get dragged into the relegation battle. If we keep playing like we did the other day then we will be in trouble come end of season.

BB, even the most ardent anti DCL fans must be able to see the donkey work he puts in, to his own detriment. He'll never score when he is being made to drift into the channels imo. I agree with them on one thing, he needs to find the back of the net more often. Beto may have scored but he's definitely not the answer.
