What does anyone think of making a bid for Mason mount when the transfer window opens.

As well as his 200k plus wages and the fee Utd will want and need to recoup would rule us well and truly out. Massively overrated and clearly injury prone. Better, cheaper out there.

Top of list needs to be an attacking midfielder who can pass a ball.

Woburn, I think if we can get Mangala, Tim and Garner as a midfield 3 our possession and passing would be much better. We really need decent fullbacks.

Agree bb, pacey fullbacks that can both defend and attack a priority for me. All good teams have good fullbacks.

Mangala is a holding midfielder, Tim not yet seen enough of to suggest he’s the man. Garner works hard but is not an attacking midfielder. We have too many grafters in our midfield and a distinct lack of flair. Agree need a left back, but still think Pattison given a chance could nail that position, and along with Dixon we have strength there.
Think a better manager could bring both on.

Agree NFM. There’s no one in our midfield who can open up defences. We need craft. We also need pace from the full backs too. And probably a replacement for DCL.
